Try look for Amway distributor/IBO for their latest Air purifier known is Atmosphere mini. It came with 3 filtration system, pre-filter to filter your cat furs or other big particles like dust/hair.
Hepa filter and carbon filter, carbon filter able to filter odor as well (or any other VOC/2nd hand smoke etc)

I still using their previous generation. I got another Xiaomi purifier but I think for animals fur, is best to get a stronger fans. the mini iinm cost around RM2.9k

Is not about the brand, is about overall the product offer such as what kind of media/filter they use, and then the room size needed for the CADR, other misc feature like wifi/smart etc or energy star for electricity saving or silent mode etc, warranty coverage, parts in the next 10 years etc etc.

I would recommend Atmosphere Sky (the mini one because is cheaper - via Amway), and then BlueAir - specific model only (can be found at Harvey Norman authorised reseller), or Xiaomi (available Online/Offline everywhere)

Cuckcoo and Coway only their high end one are great, the lower end or middle end doesn't value for money, but I long time no survey their updated model.

I would like to point out actually is almost the same. If assume we all follow the guideline change filter as per the Air Filter manufacturer.

Mine Xiaomi 3H required every 180 days to change the filter, let's say I buy it via Shopee/Lazada, it probably cost around RM100, so would end up annual fee at RM200 (before any sort of discount/sales)

I have Amway Atmosphere too. There are 2 media need to replace, 1 is HEPA and another 1 is Carbon. HEPA cost around RM580 and Carbon cost around RM480.
HEPA life span are somewhat between 3-5 years depending the speed/hours u use and the Carbon life span are around 1-2 years also depending usage.

If we put aside the Carbon into comparison since the 3H doesn't able to filter odour since no Carbon inside but HEPA only. RM200/year x 3 = RM600 which almost similar to the Amway HEPA filter.

Thats why, buyer need to know what is the purpose of air purifier usage, and the cost of the maintenance as well. I'm still using both but the Amway I no longer buy Carbon filter due to I no need to filter any second hand smoke or VOC or funny smelling in my house. I only replace the HEPA both of my device.

That one is a joke when u look at the technical performance of CADR. Any air purifier in the showroom can pwned it in no time.

It will only worth probably RM2k if you can sell it.
Trade in buy new from Amway via trade in method worth RM1k.

I’m using too. But I won’t need another unit anytime soon. Lung disease related patient or nose allergy children or pet owner are very likely to buy a second hand. But if you can sell it for 1k++ is considering very good because replacement filter cost almost 1k as well. Filter life span can use up to 3-5 years assuming daily use for 6-8 hrs at fan speed 2.

You need a carbon based and HEPA based air purifier.

I think the price are just minor different, just get the Grey will do. around RM100 iinm.

Inflation. All parts raise price no matter which Manufacturer/OEM. If your Air Purifier or Filter doesn't raise price after Pandemic, it mean the product itself is so cheap to produce or not serving its purpose or even old old old stock anyway.
