Btw, just spoilt my RM9 SP received today. Got few specks of dust caught by the SP when I applied it just now.

thanks, it works. but now becoz lift too many times, the lower left corner of the SP is like bent slightly, thus not sticking to the screen completely.

i dun think there is much difference if no stylus is used. My previous cheapo SP on my Desire and Desire HD still in pristine condition until today. But the SP for my previous Palm device definitely got a lot of micro and mini scratches all over the screen after long term use of stylus. And just tested the multi-pen stylus for my Palm device on the Note - NO, the stylus tip does not work on Note.

Will test out this RM9 SP intensively with S Pen in the coming days/weeks to see whether it can withstand the prolong use of stylus.

@KKW: I think I will just cut off the corner that is being bent. Just using it for short term use as the casing I am getting later - case-mate, SGP, otterbox or whatever should have come with a free SP.

buy another cheap one to average out the cost. i should have bought 2 instead but nevermind, just live with it at the moment.

Xscope browser recommended by uncle Benny is fast too. Using it as default at the moment.

how you gonna DIY? Actually i also thinking of DIY a simple leather pouch just to cover the Note fixed with a simple back casing but i dun think i have the equipment (sewing machine) and skill.

BTW, now withe the SP on, finally can do some serious S Pen actions.

yes, true, i am wondering why some of you concern so much about the percentage and the various processes? It is only useful when your battery drain is abnormally high - then you need to check the stat to see who is the culprit. If your battery is normal and ok why bother to check this. Go play some games or do some fantastic staff on your new shiny Note than keep tracking the battery stats.

@blunderboy: you can try not using your Note for a day or 2, just turn on the screen occasionally - then you will notice your display will be using 80% of your battery, and you will suspect your screen got problem? get my point?

some of you guys really too paranoid - anything "looks" or "sound" unusual straight point to possible phone fault. Most of the time is user fault.

not possible for battery level less than FULL. the only way is to charge it to FULL then it will stop charging.

Added on November 24, 2011, 6:10 pmit doesn't matter even if it hit 90%. This is not desktop PC. STOP monitoring all the battery, memory, or whatever usage please, guys. The system will monitor itself and close idle apps to free up ram if necessary, NO NEED at all to close those apps manually.

are you using wifi-N router? Using a N-router instead of G-router might improve the signal. My house is using WiFi-G only.

haha... i agree with you on this too. At first it seems fun to keep flashing rom but after a while when I have more apps and data in the phone, i feel very reluctant to flash a new rom and setup my homescreen and everything all over again - it will take me at least half a day to setup everything to where they should belong or behave. At the end, for my previous Desire and Desire HD, I stop flashing totally unless there is a huge changes/improvement in the custom rom.

And one more thing about custom ROM - although they bring improvement to the stock rom but they will also brings bugs, some might be just minor. The more extra features the custom rom has, the more bugs it will brings. Thus the ever updates of the custom rom coz they are constantly fixing some bugs and in the same time make some.

So for the Note, I dun think I will flash a custom rom as long as the stock rom is stable. BUT i do find out that my keyboard will Force Close some time if i type too fast.

i think a member here already posted some comment about Nillkin case.

I will be getting 8-10 pieces microUSB cables, 3-4 in-car phone holder and hopefully can get a fitting pouch for my Note this Saturday at handphone accessories wholesale store.

your set is not sealed? Actually there is a small piece of paper inside the package that tell us not to accept the package is-f the seal is already broken when we receive it or must check thorough the included items if the seal is broken. But since most of us are buying it the first time, we won't know what is included, so best to get a sealed set for peace of mind.

no need root i think but my Note is rooted. Using ADW EX coz really cannot tahan the default UI. really miss HTC Sense.

you can just measure the size of the USB connector, wouldn't that be easier coz you have the actual item on hand to test fit it.

i customised one with Easecase for my Desire HD, too bulky. If customise one for Note, it will be way too bulky - definitely will looks exactly like a lady long purse. So not so suitable for a guy.

i am still waiting for Samsung Malaysia to update their support product list to include Note. Call up the DiGi promoter who i bought the Note from on D-day. She said no need do anything, they have send the warranty report in batch to Samsung, dun know got bluff me or not.
