QUOTE(stringfellow @ Nov 24 2011, 09:16 PM) I had that often when's was using TouchWiz. Usage percentage went through the roof just for the TWLauncher itself, sometimes dormant app like Amazon Appetite also causes kernel panics and reboots it. Since I used ADW EX, not anymore. At least not that I can see. See, I tweaked mine too. But the differences is, I SETTLED on it and stopped messing with it when it worked stable nicely. same goes to us bro. we still testing the best. im enjoying my Gnote and use it. not just flashing and flashing. if i feel something strange in my note i will check and if need to flash i flash to fix the problem. No device is perfect, but we use/tweak/oc/uc and etc to suit us. this is my 2nd Gnote. the first 1 im already flash 2 times and my 2nd note is already 3 times. now its not lagging anymore after i find the good kernel and rom.

guys. went to lowyat plaza this evening and buy DELL Streak Leather Case and its fit nicely. Only rm30. i think im already ask 10-15shop in lowyat about Gnote casing. maybe in another 4-5days will arrive. SP also quite expensive. Rm20-Rm40. Lol. Added on November 24, 2011, 9:29 pmQUOTE(stringfellow @ Nov 24 2011, 09:28 PM) that is what I meant. But there are those who flash the moment the news of a new ROM/Kernel pops up on XDA, just because it is new or "custom". I personally don't agree in OCing, there are side effect and detriment to the hardware if you do, especially in tight spaces like in the Note. You may see results in OCing there and then, but the long term effect you can never see or predict. you're pushing the device outside its prescribed technical specification, this is not a desktop processor with ample buffer to play around with. me also not so agree with OC. im only UC when the phone connect to charger and screen off to make sure my device is sleep well without consume too much power in standby/sleep mode. QUOTE(Cynox @ Nov 24 2011, 10:17 PM) advancedClock 4x1 - you can choose up to 5 items what you want to display. @Baronic, this widget not free? No, I am not using pirate one but i dun think i pay for it. iirc. Added on November 24, 2011, 10:19 pmi can't feel any lag for ADW EX on my Note, way smoother than default touchwiz. I am on stock rom, only rooted, nothing more. im on launcher pro anf its good for me like my old S2. tips: install sparepart plus and tweak the setting there.

QUOTE(spicyfooty @ Nov 24 2011, 11:06 PM) so can u share which rom and kernel is good for u? in term of lag fix? im using HK rom as suggest by Uncle Benny and flash the kernel to FM 1.2. dont feel lag with launcher pro and touchwiz. so far its smooth like my S2. you can try to install sparepart plus to tweak the animation.

QUOTE(chewlf @ Nov 27 2011, 07:12 PM) Oh, I might missed that out since I configured company exchange email right after getting my gnote. It is required for me to set pin or password lock due to security imposed by exchange policy. I can't even set pattern lock now unless I delete the exchange sync. Hmmm.... bto. try enhanced email. good for exchange without pin.
