QUOTE(yeohkc @ Nov 17 2011, 08:01 PM) Thank you so much anyway can I know what is the average ram usage? mine is like 600++ is that normal? It's normal and depends on how many apps you have. Nothing to worry as your phone will auto clear the RAM when it reach the limit. No need to clear or do anything.

QUOTE(un_id @ Nov 17 2011, 08:41 PM) Damn... my note feels so hot now while im browsing web.. not sure if this is normal or not. Feels a bit exceed tolerable temperature. Tried to put it on my cheek it feels like ouch! Wish i hv a thermometer to measure it.... I've been browsing for nearly two hours already as you can see my screenshot at post #397. Never feel even warm. Infact the temperatures is 33C only :-P But my phone will get warm when charging. Maybe this weekend i'll do some 'Stress Test' like i once did for SGSII (which is 58C for 5 hours non-stop) and then we see how much this Note can take the heat. ;;wink wink::

QUOTE(ryansiow87 @ Nov 17 2011, 10:31 PM) soli guy, im new in android phone. where have the basic information for all of this? root not equal jail break? Rooting not exactly the same with jailbreaking. You do rooting to gain access into your phone system.

Thanks - Do you have Clock Work Mode (CWM)..? You can do Nandroid backup using CWM. Link about CWM below http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1134290 - Titanium Backup used for apps and data backup - No need though it's good to have one copy in external sd This post has been edited by waveweaver: Nov 17 2011, 11:14 PM

QUOTE(brainpower @ Nov 17 2011, 11:22 PM) Well, not sure anyone having this issue. My Note hang for the first time today and totally shut down when i'm trying to call someone... it scares me (never used android before) and by pressing all the possible buttons nothing happened. So by pressing and holding the on/off button it restarts again. However these few days i find the phone is getting lagging and the response is getting slower compare to the day i got it. Any idea any sifus? Sometimes when you put the phone long enough at your ear while calling or receiving a call., the screen went off (battery saving features) but not the phone itself. You can enable back the screen by press home button. Lags mostly depend on what apps reside inside your phone. You can try rebooting your phone by long press your power button (until Samsung logo comes back on again) This post has been edited by waveweaver: Nov 17 2011, 11:33 PM

QUOTE(brainpower @ Nov 17 2011, 11:37 PM) It's not while during a call. I press to unlock the phone and want to make calls, then it totally hanged! just don't know what's happening. Also my phone battery just last me for about 1 day 10+ hours... Don't know how you guys can last for 2 days. I already turn off using wifi, gps and there's no online on the phone, just purely phone and sms. but i'm using bluetooth though for my handsfree bluetooth. Off when i'm at home. You battery will get better as more full cycle charging done. Btw..isn't 30+ hours not enough for you.?? p/s - bluetooth also use battery juice :-)

~~@ brainpower First of all there's no need to clear your RAM. Your phone will auto clear your RAM when it's needed. Most phone system apps need RAM. Once you clear it..that same phone system apps will be running again and again thus only waste you battery juice. - My two days usage is only under certain condition. I didn't browsing on that time. Today i use under heavy usage with a lots of browsing and i will post my screenshots in a few minutes time for you to see..ehh :-)
