QUOTE(stringfellow @ Nov 19 2011, 04:52 PM) Play around with the bitrate and/or include stereo sound only. Some video encoders set target file size and automates the video bitrates calculations. hmmm ic will try to find out how to do that lol .Btw , if im not mistake i rmb you mentioned about u use YES 4g connection for your Note ? You using huddle ? or only dongle ? Thanks |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Nov 21 2011, 12:28 AM) 360p is still in the neck-breaking view, 480p and 720p edited to view properly. My modded Samsung Galaxy Note, with ADW EX, MultiPicture Live Wallpaper + 3D UI, WP7 Contacts + Dialer, Simi Clock/Circle Battery/Colorize FB & Twitter widgets, and Alt Drawer app drawer, to simulate WP7's own app drawer. Not featured in the video is the CRT animation from Nexus S when turning off the screen. The music player is called "3". I'm still finding a way to get a transparent email widget and a transparent Google Search bar. There is a widget called "ICS Search Bar for Go widget", but it doesn't work with ADW EX, only Go Launcher. Still nothing on the email. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 21 2011, 04:32 PM) Not much choices of roms : Hi , before flashing new rom , what should I do ? backup all files ? need external SD card ? 1. SHEEP rom based on KKA at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1352945 He uses his own kernel which is compatible with Chainfire CF root 2. Modded lean rom HK ZSKK1 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1342797 3. Antoniomistretta KKA rom at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1342797 4. Germany KK9 and Switzerland KKA at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1350960 I have tested 1, 2 and 3 and frankly I don't see any major differences in battery life. If you read XDA forums, opinions are mixed - some said battery life is better while some said is worse. I'd say the HK ZSKK1 has a slightly better battery life If you are still on KKI - try change to FM kernel 1.2 by SHEEP ( the reviews seems not bad ): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1342807 . Flash it using Mobile Odin or through CWM app and if I have the CWM app , can use that ? or mobile odin is better ? Thanks |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 21 2011, 04:53 PM) After you have root your phone, use TitaniumBackup to backup your apps plus its data. It is better to backup to external sd card incase your internal SD card "kaput" during flashing. It has happen before once to me flashing the galaxy tab. In TB , at menu/preferences select the external sd card as backup folder ( you need create the TitaniumBackup folder first at the ext card). Thanks Benny ! Depends on your firmware format : if after extract is packaged as a single file in tar format - you can use Mobile Odin or CWM . Both are equally easy to use But I still prefer the old way of booting into recovery mode and flash it as i always practiced clearing cache partition , dalvik cache first before flashing a new firmware Added on November 21, 2011, 4:55 pm Just select boot normally - then download the hosts files after that So just use titanium backup enough right ? ok waiting for my SD card to arrive 2moro then will start to learn more abt flashing new rom |
