u can open acc in dbs with $500. with IPA also can already (for my case)
have your job offer letter with you, you tell them you're opening that account for salary to be credited into that account then you dont need the $500.
this is what i did, i don't know if some branches might be more strict.

i love japanese language i dont wanna stop learning.
now considering of taking korean language classes. but i think everywhere is pretty expensive unless it's from CC, but i dont know how to judge the 'quality' of the classes given by the CC.

i'm planning to register for korean language class, they have a class coming up at february. it's at north area, woodlands cc - classes are on monday nights

if you want to look for a job, u should look for agents, those hiring companies, jobstreet, encora, zenith, etc, and just keep applying.
we're also random employees working in here in Singapore. we're not hiring agents here.
posting randomly here won't help much except getting bashed for every single mistake ppl can find.

just a reminder, there are a lot of brilliant and excellent folks here, with perfect english of course.

and yes u have some typo up there, but don't worry about getting a job, just have to keep trying.
from my experience, companies don't hire people by just giving english grammar tests, etc.. well at least i can understand what you're writing..

i think it's better to start in Sg straight away.
working in Msia temporarily wont save you much money, plus when u need to divide the currency exchange to at least half, the amount you have is not much.
tied to a job, that gives you a lot of disadvantages, you have 5days job per week. if you have any interviews you'd need to apply leaves and fly down to Sg for at least 2days just for 1 interview.
if you have at least 10 interviews, you'd be wasted with ur leaves, money, time, and everything else. in the end you have more to lose.

it's quite a known fact that companies here prefer to call a local number, having an Sg number in Msia. it'll cost you a fortune if you're gonna have phone interviews using that number in Msia.
