never consider high power = blast....high power give u more better ambient if u tune it right...although most ppl only use high power to blast...

as an example,
JL W7 with high power are not meant for SPL, it's meant for better sub freq response. it's always missed use by ppl that think high power = blast

i believe this sub are very musical...not suitable to everyone...

the mmmm sound freq range are from mid bass / bass mid (80-200hz), not sub bass. sub bass are below 60hz....for malaysia style spl, they like to make ur 12" sub work like a 6" midbass so you get the "kick". and it is common used for car with improper install of midbass at front(so their 12" are used to compensate the mid bass)...then they got the mmmmmmm sound......
