Harder to break compared to MG, and u dont have to paint it

Quite a good deal; but not advisable to buy both if you have other luggage when going back home

Maybe you can replace Astraea body with G-Exes? And to give the hood-like appearance, maybe use Gafran's/Zedas' head, or perhaps GN-X

Hmm the thing is, Bandai usually will only make gunpla that at least appear somewhere, be it in printed material or non-printed. RX78 ver ka and Wing ver Ka iinm already appeared in linearts long before their MG were made. So unless FA Banshee appeared in at least lineart, big chance it won't be appear as even HGUC.

Usually variations not listed anywhere will only exist as resin kits

if somehow FA Banshee appeared somewhere, even as lineart, HGUC or even MG FA Banshee will have higher chances since there is already HGUC Banshee and MG Unicorn. Nightingale is too huge, plus it requires new mold, and not enough fanbase, so the chances are low

Hmm maybe they do use some data from the sales of non-MG counterparts to gauge whether the kit should become MG or not last time. I know last time the HG 1/100 and 1/44 of Wing Zero Custom were sold quite well. And last time maybe they only gauge the popularity in Japan only

Well the original counterparts of 2.0 kits are very old (even their articulation was beaten by not-so-recent HGUC). Added in the fact that MS that has 2.0 version are popular.

Well, core booster (minus the weapon) mold was already exist from mg v gundam. So they can just create the rest of weapon, and bundle it with core booster. Bandai iinm only produce weapon-only kits as limited items, not as standard release. Bundling weapon pack with a complete unit is quite a clever way to milking also (hence we got 00 Seven Sword) . As for Sword/Launcher pack, I guess they don't want to waste money for MG Skygrasper They did it for PG though
