You do notice slight diff at take off between 1.8 and 2.0, but this is also depends on the skills of the drivers....

When at speed, not much diff at all.... but overtaking a full speed high rev Inspira will be difficult and again depends on the skills of the driver, not only the machine capacity itself....

That above is BERHEMAH. Knowing when to speed and ( perhaps) when not to, knowing full well the car's capabilities, stock, modded or remapped. Driving skills too, of course. Those without HEMAH, drives IKUT PERASAAN, fast or slow.

I can never say , i have the HEMAH as some here has achieved or experienced enough notworthy.gif , despite my old age. Or may be my lack of joining the TTs Fridays. Still, i enjoy what the exchanges are, that is happening on these threads.

Sorry Poadster, if i sounded alien to this group. One day i will get to meet some of you.

just curious, this bumper stopper issue, also happens in 2011 2.0P variant? coz i might be getting mine next week, bank just approved loan, and will be signing agreement this week if there's no obstacle. thanks smile.gif

Yes , mine 2011 2.0 variant has the bump stopper issue, chassis no ...7121.
Proton's COE has stock of the bump stopper, the store keeper told me. Will go there 29th November for the change. Sorry ckk125, did not ask for the parts number when appointment made today.

According to a service advisor, the bump stopper was ready a while already. That simply means Proton was either:-

1) slow to advice customers, despite a complaint made/logged earlier to Proton i-care.
2) or the service advisors cannot make the difference between the latest or the older version of bump stopper, when we get our ARB bushings changed that time
3) or Proton change only when customers complain, and try to be doing one thing at a time only ( nyek nyek and kluk kluk should be done in one go)
4) or Proton never tell their service centres about the defective bump stopper .....
5) or Proton is all the above plus more

Really?

How come I been to COE there to replace the bushes last monday, and they told me no stock in Nov??

My ARB bushings was changed already 2 months back. Dunno now thou.
I was writing on the availability of the bump stopper, which is a different item to the ARB bushings.

Yes , i did call them today, ...... but like you, i will not trust their story till work is done come 29th November 2011. The only thing i can say is that, that particular SA that i talked to and arranged work with , knew exactly how i can make live difficult for them if they want to play play with me brows.gif
