My XBOX360 KINECT suddenly unable to move. It seems stuck in same position. Is there anything that I can do or fix it myself? Or is there anyone here knows how to repair it? What should I do? Use it only like less than 10 times, in 1 month, and suddenly became like that. Really low quality product I guess.

Someone please help....................thanks.

lucky your in luck. out of the millions sold your in the first 100 to break it in months.

its better to send back for warranty, its a very complicated device and its rather new so i believe not many ppl know how to fix it.

Send back to warranty? Where? The shop I bought from is closed down. Is there a Microsoft Service Center for me to send to? Or is there any independent repairer that I can send to? Also, is XBOX or KINECT an official product in Malaysia? I never know they have a Service Center here. Correct me if I'm wrong. BTW, I'm situated in Penang.

Thanks a lot guys.

Sending down to Singapore doesn't seem like a good solution. The courier service cost is expensive, not sure whether or not Singapore custom got charge any duty/tax, and plus the tech support there don't know will take how long to fix it. All these troubles just don't seem favor towards me, not to mention in case it got hilang in the middle of nowhere as well. Just like you're saying, I might as well buy a new one. KINECT is a good product, too bad the quality is bad!!!

Thanks guys

technically i cant say its a bad quality product, since theres barely any complains surfacing yet. I m not sure what actual happen to your unit. i cant see the fairness to blame the manufacture because the user treat it badly.

Contact Microsoft SG and follow their instructions. Usually they will ask you to use courier since its faster and safe.

Xbox and any related stuff are not official in Malaysia, all stocks are bought from SG, so if you're thinking of sending your Kinect for warranty claim, then you need to send it to SG, or find a gaming shop near you and ask if they can bring it down to SG the next time they go there to get stocks.

yes, worth the money..now only RM399 i think. As for the previous user complaining the quality, ignore him. Out of the millions, there'll be a few bad units...so far, there haven't any major complain from users regarding the quality unlike the original RROD fiasco.

Hey, even Toyota and Honda makes lots of lemons car nowadays. Nothing can be 100% perfect.

first the shop close within a month after selling the kinect to you...
then u live so far away from Singapore to bring it there...
then you keep saying Kinect quality is bad...

hmmm...u are either one of the unluckiest Kinect owner in here, or ur just trying to say, KINECT is not good....
