I went to Starbucks - Jusco 10% discount no more, CIMB discount also no more.

My case is: the cashier told me Jusco 10% no more since 1 Jan 2012.

This year will start to use B card and Starbucks card....

Obviously, this is Starbucks marketing gimmick, which nothing wrong because they are running business, not charity.

Never heard ppl bankrupt because drink Starbucks.

So, if you're afford and you like to drink Starbucks, no harm for you to get a loyalty card to get more advantage via spending.

For health issue caused by caffeine, may be this is not the right corner to discuss. If you drink Kopi-o at Kopitiam, you will consume caffeine also. Or you shud try de-caf drink at Starbucks.

You can buy drink using the RM20 in the card - just like the Touch & Go prepaid.

For your 1st Q, not every new card can get free drink. 1 free drink only for every new registration - you need to register yourselve online successfully, only you can get the free drink.

I think Starbucks want to focus on their Starbucks card - so promotion from Jusco card, CIMB, AMEX and etc has been discontinued.

The system know. When you buy, the cashier will tell you.

Or you can login and check - but I lazy to check la.
