Hi All,
Is DC inverter pump really save electricity? I'm looking at Joven i90e vs i90p. The difference is i90p is with DC inverter pump. the price difference is just RM40 but is it worth it? or it just hype? what are the pro and cons of a DC inverter pump? Thanks.

How to decide between Joven and Centon 50L storage tank heaters?
Centon is cheaper by about RM90.

I suppose function wise they are alright, concern is on reliability and service

I'm on the lookout for storage heater and have similar questions. Add another brand - HydroOne EcoHeater looks good also, just 1.5kW rating instead of the typical 3kW rating. Just need to know others personal experience with the product and aftersales service which is better?

sounds like rubbish to me.

science say that conversion from electric to heat is 100% efficiency.

so it will mean 1.5kw will take longer time to heat up.

haha I don't know la, this is what their manufacture claim. but anyway it also depends on the heating element and tank insulation right? because conventional using metallic but ecoheater is using ceramic. from what i read ceramic is more efficient than metallic so maybe this is the reason why?

i am using Hydroone 50L tank heater. I on 30min before i shower. i set the temp to roughly 70degree C and mixer half-half. No issue on not hot enough. However i am planning to set the temp to higher as the 50L is not enough for me to fill up the bathtub. Hotter temp might help to get good temperature for bathtub.

Anyway the unit has leakage after installation, it is due to manufacturer's fault and it is rectified after i contacted their customer service. I cannot recalled how many days but appointment was made and rectification just took awhile. Basically the heater element unit was not installed tight enough.

thanks, where do you live? I checked on their website they only have HQ in Subang, no service center in Penang. I need to find out if they have service center/after sales outside klang valley only can commit.
