Recently, I have purchased a Panasonic water heater.

To my surprise, the unit started to leak water from the heater tank 1 day after installation.
This tripped the circuit breaker.
Luckily, no one was hurt.
Now, I'm waiting Panasonic to give a solution.

Lesson learnt, branded heater will also have lemon unit.

FYI, I have been buying Panasonic water heaters only for the last 10 years (about 6 units) and all are working fine until today.
This lemon unit taints the perfect reputation...

i bought their most expensive one pump with digital view.. soon you will find out your shower head have water leak, the rubber water outflow area also broken.. damn fucking noob.. my first day installationa dn press the button unable to turn on the power due to little gap inside button and contact area.. so i have paste thick double tape inside of button contact area in order to make it works.. expensive like hell but product quality..

Fridge 1 months+ motherboard burned and call warranty team for replacement.. (good thing is next day come over ady)..

dang... i already short list to purchase the digital version...
But on side note, anyone have recommendation of water heater with pump and without pump?
not so sure which brand is better nowadays

whether pump or without, i will also recommend go for pump version.. as additional power of pump is always welcome. Hmm, go for DC pump for quieter operation.. other than that, i believe all are function the same.. i am renovating another subsale house recently.. i bought latest midea version with pump..

my current house renovated since last 3 years.. full house with panasonic electrical stuffs.. this time subsale unit, i bought all midea (cooker hob, hood, heater, washing machine, AC, thermo pot).. except fridge.. midea didnt have inverter fridge which i go for sharp probably (havent order).. as midea service center just nearby my subsale unit.. so let's try.. previously have installed Midea AC in KL landed unit.. overall i am quite satisfied with AC performance and bill didnt shock me.. so this time penang subsale, i try use Midea..

Did you install the washers before you screw in the shower head hose/water inlet hose?

yes.. first 2 months no water leak.. and it is leak slowly slowly and now very obvious.. im not sure whether it is due to my water pressure is too high, i have turn the knob to half only now..
