This is my house in PJ, am currently in the midst of renovation works.
Most of the masonry work has been completed, wiring is almost done, aircond, water & sewage piping have both been completed.
At the moment it's about 70% completed.

New lay-out of the ground floor with 10ft ground floor extension





Progress is going so far, so good.... getting the wiring completed within next week so that the plaster ceiling guy can start work. Another 2-3 months to completion, maybe...

Not really. Am planning for plants on the balcony and wanted the bricks make the plants stand out.

Nice renovation there.

Wondering how much is your budget and did the renovation go overbudget ?

Still on going so don't have the final tally but it has not gone over the initial budget.

Looks like a major renovation work. Would be interesting to see the final result. I see that there is some influence from your blog

Seems like 40% but it's actually closer to 70%. The renovation will complete in about 2-3 months time.

Had to change what was initially planned to meet regulation specs.

But other than that ok lar.... am actually quite excited to move in.

Bought the house about more than a year ago dude, it was RM750k back then.

wah, plus ur reno, your house will b million..

No choice dude... the house was considered cheap when i got it but it came with its own problems.

For me, location is key.

Can buy new house, bigger, cheaper, but further away from PJ.

Or older, more expensive (inc renovation), smaller, but in established area where family and friends are (and amenities).
