Still on going so don't have the final tally but it has not gone over the initial budget.
Added on November 13, 2011, 11:40 amIn terms of budget, mine would be different because I'm not using a main contractor.

For me, location is key.
Can buy new house, bigger, cheaper, but further away from PJ.
Or older, more expensive (inc renovation), smaller, but in established area where family and friends are (and amenities).
