I don't mean to offend but what I mean is that its very sien to see only posts talk about bought this bought that .... how much... buy where... free this and free that. Does it even matter if shop A is $10 cheaper than shop B.
Go out and shoot some stuff la. Show off that leaf shutter silence... show off that dynamic range. Added on December 5, 2011, 7:54 pm QUOTE(Blackbird @ Dec 5 2011, 07:19 PM) Bike pron is almost tits.. so tak kira snapshot This post has been edited by sniper on the roof: Dec 5 2011, 07:55 PM |

QUOTE(aquos @ Dec 13 2011, 05:51 AM) About the same for me. First bar last longer, second and third bar will turn Don't misunderstand my intent in the previous post. I meant it as an encouragement to go out shoot and improve our photography. red very fast. Plan to get 2 pcs third party battery at rm50.00 each Added on December 13, 2011, 6:41 am <One man meat another man poison> Read this on Dpreview "what is it with x10 and street shooting ?. i see countless posts go by most have street shots but most are not showing the camera to it's best as most of the photo's have weird subject matter pointing the camera and shooting at anything. like shooting, begger's ,homeless people , drunk's , druggies , disabled people ' kid's , To me, it seem like your invading people privacy with some of your photo's some of you x10 user's take . some are not very tastefull or interesting and it wouldn't shock me if some of you x10 user's haven't been threated or attacked by sneaking off shot's like that. " I think that dpreview thread starter should direct his angst to voyeur dslrfags with zoom lens and perverts with cameraphones instead. QUOTE Street photography uses the techniques of straight photography in that it shows a pure vision of something, like holding up a mirror to society. Street photography often tends to be ironic and can be distanced from its subject matter, and often concentrates on a single human moment, caught at a decisive or poignant moment. On the other hand, much street photography takes the opposite approach and provides a very literal and extremely personal rendering of the subject matter, giving the audience a more visceral experience of walks of life they might only be passingly familiar with. In the 20th century, street photographers have provided an exemplary and detailed record of street culture in Europe and North America, and elsewhere to a somewhat lesser extent. Source of Information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Street_photography Street is about documentation which is the core concept of photography at the first place.... it's not about zooming into lenglui's from far far ... shooting homies and then turn it black&white or slap a CP filter. Google for "henri cartier-bresson" "vivian maier" Anyhow.. this topic can discuss tilll the cow comes home or in the SP thread. To my opinion, the main appeal of the X10 is its combination of un-intimidating look, the seemingly better dynamic range from DR400/EXR mode, controls and the fast lens that overcomes some of the small sensor limitation... faster shutter speed for the same dof. All very nice features to have for "street photography" If look at each feature by itself, there's many other cameras that betters those individual features.
