Kinda hard to match the already brilliant JPEG though.
And the RAW software don't read the EXR data correctly. I only know that from what i read though. Not that i notice it. |

Nothing yet. Maybe we should email them and ask when exactly will the program start.

Just watch the video from Fujiguys on Youtube. It covers pretty much everything. For general knowledge about photography, i recommend watching videos from Snapfactory channel.

QUOTE(wke002 @ May 7 2012, 06:13 PM) Thanks Mate, now got excuse to get 52mm filter to use for both dslr lens and x10 ! Can't seems to find it in YL, but saw it in shasinki, is it this one ? I got that one as well. No choice but to get from Shashinki since no one in Melaka is selling it. They got lobang behind to sort of give way if you use the viewfinder. Kinda similar to rangefinder style hood but quite horrible design when you use filter since it traps the dust. So you have to be rajin to clean the insides often.http://shashinki.com/shop/lhjx10-lens-hood...ion-p-9606.html If you have the link directly to YL on JJC(cheaper mah), appreciate share the link. thanks again. QUOTE(Everdying @ May 7 2012, 06:27 PM) btw, imo the hood is not worth it. I guess it's more towards protection of the lens element. It is indeed too small to protect from flare.its such a small lens, any flare causing elements can be easily shielded with ur spare hand since its such a small camera. so yea, a cheaper option is to search for a 40-xx step-up ring, either 40-49 or 40-52. QUOTE(Stellios @ May 7 2012, 07:30 PM) What poison??? |

QUOTE(wke002 @ May 8 2012, 09:48 PM) tmw my adapter and filter shud be arriving. its kinda funny, with lubang, it will protect but will not keep the glass from dirt. Yeah had to clean up both the filter and the lens as well but no big deal. Just that you don't want to tighten the hood on the adapter too much. Else it will be too hard to twist it back out. One trick is to open the hood while the adapter is still on the camera. Much easier that way.quite a nuisance we cant use any filter, now have to forego the original casing. i surf somewhere one of the filter is able to fit but size is 40mm, weird. subang parade dslr shop got sales and is displaying many old filters, perhaps should paid them a visit and start to experiment, maybe one will fit nicely. already submitted my q with fuji mal when new sensor arrives. ppl buy special filter to have star and ours extra special, without any filter, we can create orbs ! I didn't get the original casing when i got the camera. Kinda stands out too much for me. So i got a small pouch instead that can fit the camera with the hood. Can even fit the EF20 flash, spare batteries, card reader, lens pen. It's pretty packed though. Looking for a small shoulder bag to fit the battery chargers & gorilla pod (clone) as well. The filter i think depends on your luck. Some say 39.5mm. Some say 40mm or 40.5mm. It's impossible to find here in Melaka so i gave up and got the adapter to use 52mm filter instead. Oh so you emailed Fuji Malaysia? Hope you can share when exactly will the sensor replacement program starts. Got any orbs to show? |

All but depends on your luck. Some really bad but some maybe totally OK.
Buy OM-D if you want to invest into more lenses. I got the X10 because i don't want to be poisoned by lenses. The X100 is more comparable but you're stuck with fixed lens. But then again that may not be a bad thing. Maybe i'll just call Fuji... This post has been edited by Joseph Hahn: May 29 2012, 12:27 PM |

QUOTE(jehutyz @ May 29 2012, 11:15 PM) Yeah same... one of the reason of getting X10 as no reason to buy lens... ^^ Yeah the retro design is one main reason i got the camera.Anywhere the retro design also one of the reason.... QUOTE(sumtuckieeeee @ May 30 2012, 12:55 PM) Just wondering can X10 image quality compare to the 20mm f1.7 lens? Thought of getting x10 because it has zoom and flash. less hassle I don't think you can compare 4/3 sensor with 2/3 sensor IQ.QUOTE(cyberixus @ May 31 2012, 12:11 PM) I am tired of waiting ... for Fujifilm to resolve the X10 orb issue. Wait! Got some good news today. Now considering Nikon V1 ... with an adapter I can use my existing dslr lenses. QUOTE Good morning! Sorry for delay revert. I just had information from our logistic dept that the modified CMOS sensor would be arrived to our service centre next Monday. You may arrange your camera deliver to our service centre next week. We might look into other problems you mentioned as well. Would appreciate for your support and patience for the past month! |

QUOTE(cyberixus @ Jun 1 2012, 05:24 PM) Good news indeed. I'll wait a lil' longer and see whether the new sensors resolve the orb issue. I will send the camera to Fuji after 15 June. No idea how long they will take but will definitely post an update here. This is one camera I would really like to "LIKE". |

Add another one to your list. A newcomer from Sony.
http://www.dpreview.com/previews/sony-dsc-rx100 I somehow hope the successor for X10 will have a 1" sensor as well. Along with 24-120mm f1.8-f2.8 zoom and a built in ND filter. |

Can attach into your post or use external link.
Finally got a call from the service center, saying they're gonna deliver my camera. Not bad. Just one week. |
