Salary end of month only out. sad.gif

And hopefully, it'll go down until that time. Then I figure many people will use their salary to buy gold. tongue.gif

Yes, but u don't understand global markets at all if you think Malaysia makes any difference to gold demand. Malaysia is just a drop in the ocean when it comes to gold demand...

Yes, you're probably right.
I'm just saying. And it was an amateurish speculation, since last week gold spike, it was also around the time when some workers who get paid fortnightly got their salary.
Of course not everyone invests their wages on Gold.

I'm sorry if it sparked any arguments. Let's just be cool. smile.gif

Haha, if investment is based on reasons, then all those analysts are rick people liao.

Yes, gold investment is like gamble. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Gold is high risk investment. I would classify it as gamble

Gold is a "Gamble" Which will never reach "$0" unless alien takes over the world or someone can find a way to make gold out of a replicator (star trek)
A real Gamble is placing a bet into something which you have absolutely no idea how it will go and a chance to loose everything you have.

Sure you can loose by investing in gold. But there's always still value in them.

If your defination of gamble must include "losing everything", then i agree all investment is not a gamble.

For gold, it fits the first part of your defination, ie you have absolutely no idea on the rise and fall for the next minute.

But if you put in the second part, gold investment does not defined as such.

But to me, when an investment is high risk, it is a gamble. You can lose 80-90% of your value in gold investment. I have experienced that before. So i define gold investment as a gamble
