It could, but that is something im not so sure about. Gold failed to break above 1600 today and drifting lower, that means the trend is lower..

Because of Euro concerns, jobs report and near technical number..the bulls tried to go above 1600 but failed..I look at this as a sign that it will go lower...it is abit oversold at the moment tho..

Well, this is my reasoning why Gold went up : Due to he Fed hinting that QE3 is possible, plus bargain hunting..

I believe it will drop below 1540 but not sure 1530. If this is the short term bottom there should be another bottom a few weeks from now.

Sudden spike down in gold to 1582 area, gold has failed to breach 1600 and this should mean it remains below 1600 for the time being, barring any news to trigger a spike in gold.

Well, there's always alot of news happen, Fed could hint at more quantitative easing tomorrow and that would cause gold to spike up... nod.gif
