As you can see in the photo below, it offers RM5000+. sounds really nice on the surface. I have tried searching the internet for cruise job scams and I have found "American Cruise Ship Corporation".

And so I decided to give this Mr John a call. He speaks decent English, and I know he's a local Chinese guy based on the way he speaks (Malaysian English we know it). I introduced myself as Jonathan, I only gave him my Christian name. Then I mentioned the ad in the newspaper and I need some enquiries. He asked for my age and my qualification, and so I told him that. After that he asked me whether I can travel and I said yes. He told me this cruise travels to US and Europe.
The funny thing is, he told me this company is new and there are a lot of positions. I'm really skeptical when I asked him for his email, the cruise's website and also his phone number. He told me he has them REPEATEDLY without even sharing out his or the company's details, not even the phone number. He insists on meeting up in his office at Masjid Jamek so he can show the stuffs, I don't know what stuffs he wants to show.
If it's an American Cruise, why is a Chinese dude representing this company? Shouldn't it be a Caucasian? And why recruit Malaysians? If it's legitimate, wow! I really want this job, RM5000 minimum for a college fresh graduate.
Scam or not a scam? Any feedback would be tremendously appreciated.
