Yes it is true that it takes months for Manpower to open your account, we do submission to EPF once a month and it is being processed manually. Over there at EPF, it is also being done manually. If you open an account on ur own, you will get the account number on the same day.
Upon your employment with Manpower, if you don't provide your EPF number to Manpower, your epf will still be deducted and will be floating for few months due to manual uploading on both sides and also due to the fact that there are thousands of employee every month.
Worry not, your epf deduction and interest will be backdated to your date of employment with Manpower. As we have so many employees, it would be great if you can alert us if u discover that there are discrepancies in your epf contribution. We will check on your behalf and ensure the money is being credited. There is definitely no need for Manpower to cheat your EPF money
