I got my shitty story too ,

one day i went out with my mum to the curve , had our lunch , bla bla , walked around , here came 2 fit guys . on thier black shirt , with words on thier pockets around thier nipples , ASIA CARNIVAL sumthing sumthing , walked towards us with a luggage bag and a nokia phone saying:

hi miss,we're from citibank and would you like to sign up for the AIRASIA , GIANT , JUSCO , and 1 more , forgoted .. my mum just ignored them and walked away , but something really catches our intention , miss , if u sign up citibank will give you free COLOURS OF BENETTON luggage bag which is worth RM6XX OR Nokia phone which is worth RM3XX . the phone comes with camera , colour bla bla ...then me and my mum slowed down and stood there listening to thier bullshits .

my mum said , i got 2 citibank cards liao , is there any other benifit ?? that dude then quickly replied:

OH!A citibank kard member , youre lucky miss , as a existing card member , youre entitled to get BOTH the free gifts AND A CHANCE TO WIN A LCD TV !

you know la , we got nothing to lose , why not ? but , my mum said are you people genuine citibank peoples ??? LOL , they both turned around and pointed to the back of their shirt which stated CITIBANK .

then my mum blindly wrote everything liao , all agree agree , then only the guy said , miss , you need to wait 6 WEEKS for the gift and 2 weeks for the card to arrive your doorstep .. i was like WTF? why dint u say earlier ??

he then said , dont worry , heres my namecard , you can call me to check out the process , then my mum is like , haiz ... sure anyway ..

3 WEEKS LATER :
first card arrived , the airasia one ... hmm , i think they're pretty genuine ,

3 MONTHS LATER :
my mum even bought a new SIM card for her new phone , she got very pissed and called the guy , guess what the guy said to my mum thru the phone :

erm , aunty , im not working in citibank anymore ..

of course , my mum cursed around ... and went ahead to call citibank ..another shitty thing poped up ,

miss , we are sorry to say , the nokia phone is out of stock , we can only give the free luggage bag in next 2 months , my mum just said , aiya forget it la , stupid baskets ... lol ....

well , i wouldnt say this is a con/scam story but i think its pretty worth to share out my experince with you people ..ciaoz.
