Hello, I don't know if this is the right thread to ask this but, what do I have to look out for when I sign an offer letter or when I accept an offer? What are the stuff other than the salary and the annual/sick leaves? Clauses etc.

Is it wise if I delay a few days before signing the offer letter? Perhaps tell them that I will think about this offer, and reply asap. Is this a wise idea?

other basic things to check are
1) notice period for resigning, if want to leave earlier how?
2) any bonded period (cannot leave within 2 yrs or else pay X months salary)
3) cannot join competitor

and various stuffs they slot in to ur offer leter.
