thanks but what the benefit of web check in....?
*
Er, you didn't know that they'll charge you if you do a counter check in on the day of your flight?
Also, once you reach LCCT, you'll know why you need to web check in.

Hi, i heard that you are able to choose which seats you want without paying the seat selection fee if you do the web check-in 4 hours prior to the flight departure time?

Anybody here heard of this or done this before?
*
Haven't heard of this either. Probably it's a bug on their website?

Don't think it's possible though. The other day my dad did ask at their counter when we drop our bags off, whether can change our seats or not. The girl say can't and told us the flight is not full. That was around 3 hours before our flight. I usually web check in much earlier. laugh.gif

If we dont buy any seat, and the flight is quite empty, can we switch seat ourselves? I will be flying AirAsia-X soon..
thanks!
*
Yup. The only seat you can't switch to is the hot seats.

Hi..i want to check..

can i bring toothpaste, razor and perfume onbaord?
*
Toothpaste big or small tube? Small tube of course can bring on with you into the cabin.

Razor no problem.

Perfume, again big or small bottle? If it's miniatures then no problem. I've bring miniatures with me in my hand carry luggage. If more than 100ml then might be a problem as it's liquid. Even if you purchase perfume in duty free, it won't be allowed into the cabin if you opened the seal.

Not true.... I switched to Hot Seat when it's empty brows.gif brows.gif brows.gif
If the flight is empty, AA (and other airlines) don't really care.
*
What did you do to get the cabin crew to allow you to do that! laugh.gif laugh.gif
Many times already I've seen the cabin crew nicely telling ppl that they can't sit in the hot seat. Tell me your secret. Lol.

^Why not just go online and check their packages? Those shops in giant hypermarket earn commission if not mistaken.

Try AirAsiaGo.com for their tour package. I've booked hotel and airplane tickets from AirAsiaGo before. Hassle free and was worth the price I paid.

Alrighty. Thanks! Do you have any recommendations for the hotel?
*
Depends where you are going and what's your budget and expectations like.

I booked Narry Hotel in Phuket with AirAsiaGo. My advice is, before you confirm which hotel you want, check online for reviews from previous customers. Trip Advisor is a good place to start. biggrin.gif Have fun!

Thanks!! Yeah, I was going to do just that, my budget is below 2.5k for two person.
*
That's a pretty good budget already. I paid around 1.4k for the Phuket hotel and airfare, total 5D4N free and easy. Shopping and makan will be another 500-1k depending on how big a shopper you are. laugh.gif

shocking.gif wow, so good? 5 days 4 nite? i planned around 2.5k for 4 days 3 nights for two person only

rclxms.gif for you! i just want to book flight + hotel, the rest do myself. this is a sudden trip. i never went on a hol for like few years ady zzz
*
Yup RM1.4k for accommodation and flight, forgot to mention earlier, this was for 2 persons also. It was also a last minute holiday trip. biggrin.gif We booked it like 1 week in advance only. Lol.

Just check their website out and see what other hotels they have, quite straightforward and easy to use, price all inclusive of flight and hotel. Then you can choose what other things you want to add on, like car rental, airport transfer and also other tours. But it'll definitely be cheaper if you book the rest separately. Like in Phuket, just go to any tour agency along the main shopping area there and can bargain with them for better price. thumbup.gif

Hi guys.. this is my first time ever of making aa booking. I have picked a hot seat before I realise I can still have my own preferred seat without taking those hot seats.

So now, If I downgrade my seats from hot seats to standard seats, will they refund me back?
*
Don't think so. It's very very hard to get money back from them once paid. rclxub.gif

Best is call their customer service to ask, but for something like this, you may be wasting your time calling them also. When booking AA, always read carefully and check everything, cause they got lots of tricks here and there. laugh.gif

If not mistaken, during web check-in, you'll have to put date of birth and all the other details also.

I am about to book a flight KUL-Sydney? There is no space to fill in passport No on the travelers details page (Only Name, Nationality and DOB is there). So, when we need to fill in the Passport No. Thank you.
*
I recently booked a flight to Bandar Aceh and they just ask for name and DOB, no passport details as well.
If not mistaken, they'll ask for passport details when you web check in.

Saw quite a few dates for BKK at that price just now in March. Now looking at July and still got RM167.10 return.
