Does anyone know why sometimes my phone shuts off and gets very very hot? When I restart it I have lost 60% of my battery. Could this be caused by UVing and setting the min CPU speed at 100MHz?

Well, I have been running it at 100MHz since I moved to CheckROM and Siyah Kernel....I guess I must control my UVing.....

Am I the only one here who uses Voltage Control and lowers the GPU low power state to minimum everything? I found a flaw in the program, there is no reset button after accidentally applying settings. Once apply changes is clicked, it stays that way...

All my stuff I ordered has arrived. Spent half an hour yesterday replacing my matte screen protector with a shiny one. I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EYES HOW GOOD THE SCREEN LOOKS!!!. I noticed that my shiny SP shows up all the oil and fingerprints, but when using it, it is unnoticeable...so I don't really care.

The 1800mAh battery seems to be equal in battery life to the original 1650mAh. Now to see if it improves after a few charge cycles and whether it deteriorates drastically over time...

I use the default one at home, because the connection is fast. But when I am out, I use Opera because the pages are just 20% their original size, so browsing is lightning fast!!!

Both opera's do the same thing. But I use opera mobile, haven't tried opera mini because some wifi hotspots don't allow opera mini to connect when I was using my N97. I had to use opera mobile then. So now also I use opera mobile...

I agree 100%. I found that my iTunes took more RAM and hard drive space than my Halo trial...

And the second you install it, QuickTime will come along and associate all video files to it, even those that it cannot play and that is also a resoucre hog..

It is how the app is. Once you install the beta egl driver and restart, you must reinstall the app. Then it will be fine

Have you updated the SU through the market?

Your problem is so funky.

All devices detect headphones because of the resistance applied across the contacts when powering the coils in the speakers. Your problem seems to be that the phone thinks headphones are plugged in the whole time. But when ringing, of course the phone will ring through the speaker, not the earphones.

Have you tried twisting the headphone jack in the socket? Try blowing into the socket with compressed air or just use your mouth(make sure there is no saliva!!!)

It could also be a software glitch if you are 100% sure it was fixed completely with a re-flash...

To those that want Asphalt 6, just be creative and google it. It is not piracy if it is free to begin with.

I just did a simple test, play music and play asphalt 6. And while the race is going on, lock the screen without pausing the game...The phone freezes and the music stops instantly.

I keep having problems with the phone locking up, even with no UV and no UC. stock 200-1200 with ondemandx

Edit: happens even when using performance governer...why does the phone keep locking the damn CPU speed so low when the screen is off? Eveytime this happens and the phone heats up, i lose like 40% of my battery!!

So you are using Voltage Control with ondemand at 100-1200 or 200-1200?

To those having slow gallery issues, use quickpic instead. It is free and a million times faster!!

I have basically all the gameloft games installed, especially racing and first-person-shooter. I skip those 3rd person ones.
