Just got this great phone as gift. but facing a problem
Usually I don't use black theme with white font as it makes me kinda headache after staring for quite long. Is it possible to which the ui to white while font to black? Have been looking for some guide and not much there is for gingerbread. Those theme in the market doesn't change the ui colour unless those that i doesn't know of?
Anything that I can do to change it?

Just made up my mind yesterday of getting the "G" version since I prefer orginal SME set, reduced heat issue and better lasting battery to compromise with the slightly lower CPU performance

I have another question about rooting...

1.) Will it void the warranty of the phone?
2.) Let's say if ICS will be launched next month, do I need to root the phone again after upgrading to ICS?

I have my Mom's phone with me now to play around.
She just bought it yesterday.
That shop really tried to rip us off on many levels.
1st the AVG Anti-Virus.
He also told my Mom that GNote costs RM2500 cos my Mom was actually more interested in that but thank God thought that the price difference was too much so just went with S2.
I just found out that the price of Note is actually just RM2300.

-How do I check the current version and how do I upgrade it?
Or is the shop provide with the most up to date version already?

-The camera quality is quite disappointing or am I supposed to fiddle around with the settings first? It is grainy.

-In the first post I didn't see any list of Anti-Virus'. Could anyone recommend a free AV? Or is it better to just purchase the AVG? Problem is that both me and my Mom don't have a Credit Card. Have to ask my Dad for one.

-Anything else I should update or install that is really useful in order to make it a better phone? A USD1-5 dollar shouldn't be a problem as long as it's really useful and important. My Mom's not gonna jailbreak/root the phone btw.

Oh look Documents to Go is free on Amazon today. Those that have not tried it should get it. For me its the best office app on android. Remember Amazon is only giving the unlock key. You still need to install the main app.

how do you guys actually get the Amazon app working? I followed the guide   on first page but it says 'The Amazon Appstore is not yet available in your region.' whenever I try to download an app.

For those who are working edi really no excuse to get pirated apps man, especially those that only cost a few ringgit... nowadays eat one simple meal also can buy two apps edi >.<

it does feel good when you're using an app that you paid yourself, especially when the app is very useful you will feel that you actually deserved it... not sure if anyone understand the feeling I'm trying to describe lol

G is supposedly a little bit inferior to the normal S2 right?

I guess I'll uninstall the AV.

Another problem that I notice is when it's on the home screen and I try to go to another homepage, the screen tilts. Is that supposed to be normal?

I heard from my friend that the screen protector makes the touch sensitivity decrease by a little. Is this true?

but how do we know that ?? i read everywhere the G version is on 2.3.5 or 2.3.6 :/
