It's the beginning of May, and you know what that means. Mike is sharing with you another exclusive Fort Minor track, titled Strange Things. Check it out:

MIKE'S NOTES: this was the first fort minor song. i did it just for fun, screwing around in the bus. i like the beat, but i don't like the lyrics. all the stories in the song are true, by the way. this song basically got scrapped as i started making other things that i liked better, but listening to it now, there's a cool kind of nostalgia about it. To download other exclusive Fort Minor tracks only available to the Militia, logon now to MEDIA. Please remember these exclusive tracks are for Fort Minor Militia members only, and anyone caught posting them outside of the Militia community will risk having their membership removed.

Chance to attend KIIS FM event in Los Angeles

Attention California members!

Mike Shinoda and Holly Brook will be performing Fort Minor's "Where'd You Go" at the KIIS FM radio station in Los Angeles, CA. The performance will be on Friday, May 12 at 5:00pm. As a bonus for Fort Minor Militia members, we are giving away three pairs of tickets to attend the KIIS FM performance in Los Angeles!

If you'd like the chance to attend, please make sure that you are available at least a couple hours before and after 5:00pm. We will give away the tickets on a first come, first serve basis. The Militia members who receive these pairs of tickets will be contacted via e-mail/phone later this week for final event details (exact time & location).

Please note that you will need your own transportation to the event. If you're 100% sure that you can attend, send in your request now for chance to receive a pair of tickets to attend Mike Shinoda and Holly Brook's performance at KIIS FM radio station in Los Angeles, CA.

Holly Brook, the voice on the chorus of Fort Minor's "Where'd You Go", will be doing an EXCLUSIVE online chat on FortMinorMilitia.com with you all on Tuesday, May 23 at 8pm PST! Holly Brook is a Machine Shop artist and singer-songwriter, and will have her debut album Like Blood Like Honey available digitally on May 23, and in stores on June 6. Come with your questions prepared about her experience performing "Where'd You Go" with Fort Minor, how she came to be involved on the project, and what it's like to work with Mike Shinoda.

WHATUP FM FANS! just wanted to drop a note about MTV's TRL. those of you who watch the show, follow the chart, and vote have been doing an amazing job of keeping FORT MINOR on there. the WHERE'D YOU GO video has been on the countdown for 7 weeks (30 times!), and we have 20 more possible TRL airings until it officially "retires." it's a very special thing when a video stays on the countdown long enough to retire it--not many videos make it that far. i just wanted to say thanks for voting and making it a part of the countdown non-stop for this long...keep up the great work! it would be amazing to see our little video make history.
