ask yourself:
* do you need data plan? or you plan to use the smartphone only via wifi?
* do you think this phone will spoil in the next 24months due to poor manufacturing quality?

if u think the quality can last more than 24mths, then 2yrs and 1 yr makes no diff.
data plan... if you dun need... then dun sign up lor. but sign up... you get more discounts on the handset.

so... did i make it simple enuff?

update1: btw, sign up with digi or celcom also should still get you FOC flip case, as per ad on newspaper.

To clarify, I bought this morning from Celcom QBM penang roadshow, inside the box got Note itself preinstalled with the foc flip casing. The original back cover is inside the box as well. Of cos I claim the crystal casing from the counter also.

Yes. Get both, the flip case is inside the box come preinstalled with the phone. I havent open the FOC Crystal case , but look like both also flip case, just this one add some bling bling..

didn't see any white note sets there. all comes in blue. Proud new owner of a Galaxy note which I got for RM2088 when I purchase an Xpax Prepaid Starter pack which only cost RM8.50.

Total spent RM2096.50 & I'm among the 100 ppl to get the bling cover. To sum it all up,didn't expect to get at that price,but lucky me coz I decided just to get it at the recommended retail price rather than to waste another day to own this HYBRID...not a vampire nor a werewolf bcoz he's both.

Okay guys, when you get your pre-order set, make sure you got/demand your flip case also since it comes pre-installed inside the box. Inside also got ordinary battery cover meaning if you dont want to use the flip case then you can simply change and use the other cover.
~muahaha~ i even manage to get the bling bling pouch
One more thing, the charger comes with.extended 3 pins so much easier to use ehh o_O
