quite sure the pen won't work unless the device was originally designed to use this technology by wacom in the first place.

I don't think they even know whether its working or not. They only touch the device on that day itself isn't it?...

Guys, I don't know what happened to my Galaxy note just now. It just went blank/dead while I was transferring huge amount of files from my notebook to it.
Could it be that my battery is dead? Damn just 2 days using it. Anybody here have gone to the service center in jalan tun razak? If let say the battery is dead, do they give 1 to 1 exchange since its just 2 days bought?

If your battery malfunction then they will gave you a new battery only not a new phone.!! Did you try to charge back your phone and see whether everything back to normal.?

can't be coz alieamin said samsung gave vendors some training...

but ya, i know some of the sales ppl (esp the ones i met at digital mall) behave like first time using it.

they probably got confused and wanted to say... apps that use pen (like that s-memo or was it s-note) can also use finger (if you lazy to use pen). smile.gif

Yup, i did try to troubleshoot to see which is the culprit. And i highly suspect it is the battery itself. but that's just my assumption. Gonna go to the SC and see what's wrong with it. I hope that I could get a 1 to 1 exchange regardless what the damage is.
I guess I'm the first unlucky user of galaxy note. sad.gif

You just gonna get embarassed if the technician find there's nothing wrong with your phone or your battery. Waste your valuable time somemore if they hold your phone for a few days for nothing. Why not you try charge your phone first and see if it charging or not. If your battery totally drain then it's gonna take a few minutes and only then the charge icon pop out.

Yes, you can now root plus install CWM if your phone firmware has been upgraded to KKI ( the latest for local sets ). It is a very easy process - just take few minutes

hi uncle benny
i am new to note, would like to root my root, but i still quite confuse how to do it.
i bought my note last friday via SEP, the system info is

Android version : 2.3.5
baseband version : N7000DXKJ3
kernel version : 2.6.35.7-N7000DXKJ6-CL673389root@Dell125#2

so follow the instruction here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331784

(p.s. i not root before)

so the steps i need to follow is:

1) 1.2. If you are not rooted yet: Using the zergRush exploit
2) 3.1. Flashing a new kernel
3) 3.2. Flashing a new firmware

am i right?

You just need to run step 1.2 only. After you run the "not rooted yet .bat" , phone will reset and your phone will be rooted with CWM installed.
Download and Use the right kernel KJ6 ( post #4 )

You need not flash new kernel or firmware - this is for later purposes if you need to upgrade
