Now, is to experiment the Throttle stop, I'm going as high as 86C when playing game.. palm area hot is understandable, but to the keyboard areas as well, is a bit too much.

Going home today, I will try on a good laptop cooler. (I play without battery, and in air conditioned room directly blowing towards it)

Why too much? Palm rest is where the HDD located. Keyboard area is the real stuff, CPU and GPU located there and it produce more heat than HDD..

^Can you check Event Viewer - Windows Logs - Application, and search for Error ?
Did you uninstall Asus WebStorage ?
Can you reinstall and overwrite those program and uninstall it?
I would just install the INF, Intel Management Engine Component, Keyboard Filter, ATK Package, MSE (TrendMicro no need)..
P4G settings you can access those via Windows Power Management..
From this thread, the default Windows from Asus is quite delicate, it can start crashing after uninstalling the bloatware..
*
ill try to see if i can get into event viewer because everytime i start up the comp... as soon as i enter windows, it hangs ....

i uninstalled asus webstorage....

should i just reinstall a fresh windows and ignore overwriting ?

i certainly agree that the default windows is delicate....

thanks for the help lee_what2004 smile.gif much appreciated...

Okay, just got my N45SF back. Updated the BIOS to 218 without any problems, doing a clean install of Windows 7 now. (:

Disconnect AC

Under the Batteries category, right-click all of the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery listings, and select Uninstall (it’s ok if you only have 1).

Which driver do I go to? There are so many.
EDIT : All of the drivers are of the latest version, and I tried rolling back the drivers that could be rolled back, didn't work.

There's no driver with a yellow warning sign, and tried clicking that option, no changes. Guess I gotta send it back to the service centre. ):
