Let's just say Penang is not very friendly when it comes to video game IPs.

Piracy is especially rampant here. Penangites have been accustomed to buying pirated shit for many years, it's not a surprise that there's no retailer here.

Problem with buying online from reputable seller is that the parcel still might be lost halfway in delivery.... especially by Pos Malaysia. I experienced with them few parcels lost and they don't want to responsible, they said only can rebate for they delivery charges...

Buy from retailer then. I'm still paranoid when it comes to buying from reputable personal sellers.

I bought my ori games from Perangin Mall last time, 4th floor the Altec-blabla-something, is just opposite of the lift. And yes they mainly sell *ahem* version but they shelved the ori one behind thier counter. You need to ask them for the stock.

But then I end up buying with pbbseller online now because it's less hassle (waiting skynet come to your house is better than drive to Komtar area)  tongue.gif

Those shops mostly sell pirated games. They carry a few original titles just to fool the cops when they get raid. When I was a student I used to frequent 1Stop (Zone Technology and Multisoft) haha which are dead beyond resurrection because of Steam discounts. Still remember queuing up to buy the pirated version of Doom 3 haha. Those were the days...

I also live at penang island and mostly i buy games from The Software Boutique and YouBeli for quite a while and it doesn't fail me at all. Their postage is quite efficient on time after release.

right now I'm waiting for my Elder Scroll 5 skyrim to arrive at saturday.

Same here. I initially started with PCGame.com.my and then switched to TSB.
