I Just paid my booking fee for golf 1.4tsi yesterday. Currently in the midst of processing my loan. If everything goes smooth, i can get my car in two weeks time.

Anyway, I'm wondering wat to check/inspect when I collect my golf before I sign the paper?

I read through all the pages n found some owners having clutch juddering with their golfs..is the issue is still on going? How do i inspect it when i collect my

Btw Im getting 2011 made golf(no choice, coz the discount offer is too good to resist).

total RM14k discount for 2011 car made while 2012 made golf only have 1+% discount from the total price.

btw, mine is light & sound package, the entry model is out of stock.

glad to hear u got the same offer, somehow i feel cheated because my bro bought a tiguan from the same SA and the SA told only i got the best offer because we are come back customer.

was eyeing on few japan models before think of VM. test drove few jap cars before i test golf but once i test drove golf, all jap cars are out of my mind.

seriously, only golf gave me the "WOW" factor out of other big cc jap cars.

ok guys, after all the offer talks. i want to know if i trade in 16inch rims n tyre and opt for 17inch rims n tyre, how much i need to top up if i get it from VM directly?

how much it worth if i trade in outside?

i got the offer from Jalan Ipoh branch.

free one year insurance, 1 year road tax and RM500 touch n go is standard CNY Promotion for all package if im not mistaken. And the promotion period is until 29th Feb if im not wrong.

in my case, the 14k cash rebate is inclusive of 1 year insurance n road tax.

not sure other can get this offer since my bro just bought a Tiguan last month so the offer they gave me is better (SA told me is the best offer i got in town, LOL!! ) since we are comeback customer.

i got a call from Banker last friday to verify my details and till now i receive no news from banker or SA. friend of mine told me quickest should be within 2-3 days.

btw, i'm applying my car loan from maybank.

argh...can't wait to drive my golf!!!

just got a call from Sales Agent that the coming batch of golf tsi they might get is 2012 year made car.

which means, i wont get that much of discount (14k plus other goodies) and they will give 2-3% discount for 2012 made car to compromise the false promises they made to me.

i'm very upset and feel fustrated, i might go for legal allegation if they failed to deliver what they promised to me earlier.

the branch i get my deal is from VW Jalan Ipoh from Amcorp.

if im not mistaken, in sales agreement there written 14k discount. and i signed the paper, which i think thats the official document i can use it for legal allegation.

i'm not too sure whether the Sales agreement stated is 2011 car or 2012 but the SA do stated 14k discount in the document. futhermore the SA said they have the 2011 car in stock and ready when i sign the paper and now they bs me with this 2012 car crap...

anyway, my loan application is not approve so i can't do anything but wait for the approval. Once i get the loan approved, i will stand still on my demand and not going to accept the alternate deal.

if they can't give what they promised then i will make a big fuss about it.

continue on my golf tsi story.

yesterday received a call from Sales Agent that he can't source any 2011 year made golf for me so he offer me 2012 car with better discount than other branches.

he offered me 4.6k discount for 2012 golf tsi, compare the the previous offer i get from 2011 golf, it is almost 10k short!! I refuse to take the alternate offer and i told the SA will file a complaint to Volkswagen HQ and lodge report to consumer tribunal with all the documents i had.

the SA keep saying it is not his fault and bla bla bla then i told him he can save his breath and explain it later to VGM n end the conversation.

Few minutes later the SA call me back and tell me he is now able to get 4 more 2011 year golf tsi and it will be delivered to showroom next week. i double and triple confirm with him and he said no problem i can get my car next week.

i will keep my finger cross till next week and hope he don't give me another false hope again.

sigh, buying a new car suppose is a 100% happy thing to do in life and i wonder why i got so bad luck had this kind of unpleasant experience, hopefully the horror ends now and i can get what i want next week. *touch wood*

yes, year made 2012. the number i talking about is the car year made. there is no difference with the car model. just year made diff.

just a reminder, if you guys plan to get your volkswagen at Jalan Ipoh Branch Amcorp, please get them to list down all of the promised offers that they offer to you and ask them write it down in the sales order form before you sign.

Also if their SA said to you the car is stock ready, ask them bring you to their stockyard and check the soon-to-be-yours car, copy down the chassis and engine number and ask them to write down it in the sales order too.

for my case, they offered me a 14k discount on a 2011 year made golf. The SA told me the car is ready and in their stockyard. i trusted in them without checking the car and paid the deposit, while i was waiting for my loan to be approved, the SA called me and told the 2011 year made golf is no longer available (WTF!) and he change his statement said that the car is in the port n he got the information from VGM that coming batch of golfs were 2011 batch . however the VGM gave them wrong information and the coming batch cars are 2012 year made instead of 2011.

the SA also said he can't honor the offer they gave to me previously and give me an alternate offer for 2012 year made golf. I did not accept the 2nd offer and put pressure on them said i will pursue for official allegation such as file complain to Volkswagen HQ and lodge report to Consumer Tribunal.

And guess what? few minutes later the SA call me back said he manage to source 4 2011 year made golfs and will be ready next week.

Again and again, if you wanna get your car from Jalan Ipoh Branch Amcorp, DONT EVER TRUST THE SA 100%, make it everything BLACK N WHITE.

well, i called the SA 2 days ago, he said he is still not sure when the car will reach to their branch so i still keep my finger crossing and hope that they don't mess up it again.

promised me i can get my car within 2 weeks and now it is my third week of waiting and i'm still not sure i can get my car next week...SIGH i am really disappointed with their service...

I rather not expose his name since he now promised me he will get me the car. I posted it up just want to warn the rest to beware when purchasing their Volkswagen from jln Ipoh amcorp branch.

same experience me n my family have when we step into Jln Ipoh Branch, there were few SAs sitting behind the counter but none of them want to entertain us.

the only reason i went to jln ipoh was my brother bought a Tiguan there and the same SA promised to give us an exclusive discount price for Golf tsi 2011.

later i found out everywhere is offer more or less the same...my bad for not doing proper research.

called my SA this morning, he said still not sure when my golf will arrive. guess i wont be getting my car this week

got a call from my SA told me that my car has arrived at showroom

at last, after 3 weeks delayed all my trouble is gone and now waiting for the car to be checked and configured, earliest i can get my car is next week Friday.

buyer's beware, if you wanna get your car at jln ipoh branch. pls get them to black & white everything they promised to you. I dare to tell you that their sale ethics are as stink as public toilet bowl.

At last, received my car yesterday from jln Ipoh branch. Extremely happy with the car but not the Service in Jln Ipoh Branch.

some of the promised free gifts were not given, BS me said no stock n this n that. since those are not important items so i just treat it as "counter-discount" back to the SA. wont be going back to jln ipoh branch anymore not even back for service.
