Like wud hun mentioned last time .. as long as you don't let your dog interact / mix with those stray dogs or dogs that lift one leg up and pee, then it should be fine. He will not get the idea of lifting one leg up and pee .

When I bring Hepy to the park, it's a huge park for ppl to jog and for kids to play ler ... so far, I've only bumped into a couple with their shih tzu and their shih tzu didn't pee in front of Hepy ler. Then mostly I bring him to places like Ikano, 1U, etc .. I'll carry him one. I don't leash him and let him walk on himself except the park i always go to. So, there's no worries for me . And if he never see other dogs lift one leg up and pee, he will neva get the chance to imitate. Even if he wanna pee at public place to cover the scent, that's not really marking. Exact marking is like what Hun said earlier .. he wil pee a bit here and a bit there - all over the place instead of one particular spot.

Sometimes, I'll bring him to Pets Family, Ikano, 1U lor .. hahaah . Jz carry him in my arms lor. Then I jz walk about . If go into pet shop, then I let him walk on himself.

erm .. if i carry him in my arms / sit on my laps in the car, then he will not wee wee / poo poo lor. But if i put him down on the ground, he'll either wee wee /poo poo lor. So, mostly I'll jz carry him instead of putting him down on ground except at the vet and the park and sometimes if he baru wee wee / poo poo, then i'll let him off the ground at petshops too lor.

yaya .. his name actually means "happy" .. hoping that he'll be happy staying with me and I'll get lotsa happiness from him in return . But "happy" seems so normal, so, I just changed da wordings but still maintaining the same phonix .

I dun think it's stainless steel. Jz a piece of metal gua . I bought it from Kuching and it comes with a necklace. It's actually for human one but I jz want the tag and the cross coz they look nice. It costs me RM 19.90 (i think - forgotten). Do you know "sinma shop" ?? I think u can find it there too - same thing ... hehe. After I bought it, i took it to a shop to curve his name and dob at the back.

Wanna maintain the baby look ar - then everytime u bring to groomers, jz tell them u want baby cut . But I doubt you can keep the look for long coz when shih tzu becomes adult, it tends to have undershoot teeth - then no more baby look . For grooming service, I would recommend Pets Family at Taman Megah (ss24). If u wanna go on weekends, u need to book an appointment first coz they're usualy fully-booked on weekends. That's wud one of the groomers told me .. hehe.

erm ... PW is not that clean and from the way u see them treat the animals there - pssttt. Jz take a look at their hamstery - got cocroaches one .. then the place where they keep guinea pigs and rabbits .. got cocroaches too. And last time while i was hunting for a rabbit, i asked the worker thr to take the rabbit out for me to see - wah .. he jz pulled the neck of the rabbit . Dunno ler, i dun quite like PW's condition and the way they treat their pets .

dun send ur dogs for basic grooming ler .. not worth it. So expensive and in fact, u can do it yourself. Jz cut nails, pluck ear hair, clean da ear, and bath ler. U can do them urself wud. If want to send for grooming, then do full grooming . Save up the basic grooming money for a full grooming .

Make your boy lay down on his side with his ears leaning no your laps if you're sitting on the floor. Or better still if u can, put him on a chair so dat he will not move. Ask him to sit .. then down on the chair lor. Before this, I used to hold him down on the chair while i sit on the floor. When I put him on the chair, he does'nt dare to jump. Until recently that he's so familiar with the procedures ady, I put him lay on the floor or tilam with his head on my laps. Then jz hold his head down tight and open his ears up lor. And jz pluck lor - look carefully when u pluck. U dun want to accidentally clip his flesh . Jz pluck the inner hair but not too deep of course. U can get the forcep from White Palace or u can simply get a cheap one from beauty shop or any supermarkets. Get the one that girls use for plucking their eyebrow. Hope this help.

hun .... all shih tzus have undershoot teeth. But if the shih tzu can close his mouth without showing the teeth, it means that he is a standard one. On the other hand, if he closes his mouth but then showing the teeth, then it means that he's not that standard, izzit ?

I saw Pretty before - i think her undershoot is "overshot" and not that normal. I'm not so sure. She shows her bottom teeth 24 hours one .
