hmm... i saw some of my fren's shih tzu.. thinner than mine.. some groomer also say my boy too big...

i think most shih tzu also very picky... my boy also very choosy on food.. like junnie, last time i used to soak his kibbles with juices eg. orange juice, tomato juice, to make it tastier.. but somehow, he also got bored later and started to stop eating... cant always please him lo... so now what i do is, i just leave his food on the floor.. whenever he feel hungry, he'll eat..

hehhe... i use fruit juice coz my boy loves to eat fruit a lot... so hopefully the juice make the kibble more tastier.. however, once u mix it wit juice, he must finished it asap.. coz not fresh if expose too long..

clean once a week.. use cotton bud soak with ear wash.. this is how vet clean my boy's ear... i think for ear hair, pluck it when it is long.. maybe once a month..

no la.. i din purposely blow his front hair.. it was previously trim very short by ikano groomer like botak, now grow long a bit dy.. and it stick well to his head as if it's blow..

hehhe... actually it's the camera color that make it look nice.. in reality, his fur color is something grey n white.. not very nice.. look a bit dirty...

y not u stop playing wit him when it reach 11pm.. then make him lay down beside u while u pat him to sleep..

my boy kinda easy to handle as he dun bark much.. sometimes din bark for whole day... he'll sleep wit me in my room on the floor...

hmm.. i think my boy enjoy his bath.. coz after i stuck cotton into his ear and say go 'pom pom', he'll walk to the toilet n wait for me inside.. when bathing, he'll stand still and let me massage his body n face... after bathing, he'll get excited.. running here n there.. after that only lay down for me to blow his fur.. but all this need time to train.. coz my boy already 2++ yrs.. and i bath him wit tap water...

hmm.. sooner or later they'll get the message.. water -> hair-dryer == bathing... the puppy is still young... by 1.5 yr later, they'll be well behave..

wah... kutu very scary la.. i never tot the eggs still alive when we squeezed the female ticks.. so long life... on par wit cockroaches..

yea.. dun use ticks/flea shampoo unless it is necessary.. if not later the tick/flea might build resistance towards the chemical.. then u gotta use a stronger chemical to kill them..

frontline spray is to cure.. let say a tick climb on to ur doggie body that has been spray wit frontline n suck its blood.. the tick will be poison by frontline chemical.. it's up to individual whether to apply frontline if ur doggie is tick-free.. if u always bring ur doggie for walk, then better spray wit frontline.. if i'm not mistaken, after spraying wit frontline, wait till a week only bath ur dog.. otherwise, no effect dy coz the chemical din penetrate into the skin thoroughly..

jaunty_niel, ur pup with mka selling at RM800 is reasonable..

wit cert not necessary 100% pure breed.. as long as 85% pure breed, they can apply for mka cert..

anyway, pure or not, they r still our baby.. should have equal love to them..

btw, how long u took to make Pretty look pretty back? very pity her la.. every time kena rehome..

dog got their own toothpaste.. human toothpaste is not suitable for them.. i do brush my boy teeth.. last time brush it every night.. but now lazy dy, brush it twice a week..
