S-LCD is actually the name of a corporation of Joint Venture between Sony and Samsung (just read from wiki). The panel itself is actually still called TFT-LCD. Just manufacturerd by that two big screen manufacturer. They released few generations but I'm not sure about the latest though. Wiki isn't updated.

Means... Most of the screen use in newer smartphone all bought from Samsung... Sony is dropping S-LCD...
Awesome samsung... LG and Sharp cannot fight. Sharp got ASV(as dense as retina display, used in Meizu M9) though...

They don't recommend, even though they offer you 3 years warranty, actually not full 3 years covered by Samsung but 2 years by senheng. If buy from certain samsung outlet, you can get 2 years full from samsung. Samsung sure know how to fix the phone, not senheng technician. Someone said they will replace your phone if senheng can't fix it with a phone of current 2nd hand value of your broken phone. That's why they suggest you get from original samsung outlets. Only certain shop gives 2 years, bear in mind!

Every phone has counter inside showing its "Lifetime". For nokia, key in *#92702689* samsung I don't know. ~~ I rmb there's such thing on first page. check them out

Not all matte makes display look crystallised. Normally cheapo matte will make it looks cyrstallize, sort of diverted the light and creating weird colours. Few of my friends got such kind of matte SP and I really hate them. I bought more expensive one RM13++ for my phone and my bro's galaxy mini. No such problem at all. Depends on quality seriously.

I won't say it's as good as clear one. I'm just telling that Matte anti fingerprint SP got the lousier one and the better one. Of course, you can't compare it with clear one. You gain one, you lose other! You get Clear type, you gain clarity, you lose antifingerprint which means your screen will "suck" fingerprint. You get matte type, you got less problem for fingerprint, nearly no but OIL still will sticks to the screen but much better compared to clear type, you lose clarity. Nothing is perfect here.

Sure will jelly... But... I'm hoping for cross platform syncing. Even just for its own brand or same OS will be really nice. Means everynight I sync the content across devices then I can access the same thing on each devices and perhaps control each device from other devices or maybe sort of security chain that link them up so that we can do something to the stolen device from other devices. Media files/notes/calendar/alarm are the things that should be synced and I will sync if I can do so. No need to do the thing manually. Load data onto multiple devices at the same time means I can access those data from any of the devices. blush.gif Argh... it's such a good idea! I really hope that... *dreaming*

Even its stock player support flac. The stock player supports quite a wide variety of format.

The sound is not ap or ori problem but depends on firmware version. For example, my nokia, I once flashed it to Europe firmware then no more shutter sound in silent mode but Chinese not supported which is very no no no go for me. Flashed back.

1. We're not allowed to tell how to crack or whatever here. Please be aware of that else I think you'd get warning. If someone will help, he will PM you. No open discussion for cracked software.

2. Malfreemaps is accurate. You don't actually need to update it that frequently. You can't compare it to nokia map! Nokia maps OWN the digital map company named Navteq (the company which also supplies map to Google and many other GPS maker, including garmin) while malfreemap is just a voluntary organization trying to help the community. It will not be as good as nokia map but the map set itself is free. Nokia map is now only free for nokia phones.
