QUOTE(jerrygys @ Feb 24 2012, 01:30 PM) hi peter. this is jerry. i bought one unit from you for my myvi 1.5... there is one problem now. It's getting harder to start my car. May i know is it the power booster need to be changed? Hi JerryCan you please remove the FireStorm Booster and drive 1 or 2 days and see if this problem goes away. Then after 2 days put the FireStorm back in again and drive for another few days to see if the problem comes back. I have not come across this problem before from any of my customers. Do let me know your findings after you have done the above. I'll be most happy to meet up with you next month in KL when I'm there/ Cheers. Peter |

QUOTE(noblesse @ Feb 29 2012, 11:45 PM) Not all the owners leave comments on the product. I have many Viva owners who purchased but they didnt leave any feedback.I do however know by direct experience on a Viva that experienced bad engine knocking/pinging that caused the engine to loose power very badly. The owber used RON97 petrol as was advised by the Perodua Service Centre mechanics which solved the problem, but at an extra RM0.90 per litre! When I found out the owner was using RON97 to get back the lost power, I asked him to try the FireStorm Booster which I know will restore the lost power as well as remove the knocking/pinging issue. True enough, after refilling RON95 petrol, the problem returned. I met up with the owner and installed the FireStorm Booster and the knocking/pinging was reduced very much on normal driving but not altogether, especially when the Viva was fully loaded and going up steep inclines. He was however very happy to be able to use RON95 petrol again and yet had power improvements compared to before the installation of the FireStorm Booster. I then advised the owner to have the engine de-carbonised as the problem with the knocking/pinging formerly, before using RON97 would have caused carbon deposit build-ups from the pre-combustion detonation. Sure enough after going to the Perodua Service Centre for a de-carb, the Viva's regained its original performance and even more due to the FireStorm Booster. The Viva 1.0 was an automatic transmission version which was quite laggy. So, what are the mods that you have done to your ride? Is it automatic or manual transmission? Cheers. |

QUOTE(noblesse @ Mar 1 2012, 06:28 PM) thanks for the reply bro. The Viva ECU is not self learning, hence after the free-flow intake and exhaust mods, the engine loses vacuum due to lesser exhaust back pressure. The lightened pully also contribute to the low and erratic engine idling as the combustion of this low capacity engine is not able to sustain the idling momentum.mine is viva elite 1.0 done intake mods, full set exhaust system, lightened pulleys, irid plugs. experiencing rough idlings when engine fully warmed up. sometimes rpm drop too low till about ~500 (when compressor stops kicking in) and car feel shaky and about to die off (but didnt haha) when compressor kicks in, idling back to normal The air-cond idling is fixed at a certain RPM so that's the reason the engine idling is back to normal when the compressor kicks in. Just fix an appointment with me and drop by at Sunway Lagoon. I'll fix the FireStorm Booster to your car and see if it will help reduce or eliminate this problem. If we dont try, we wont know. QUOTE(tsfatt @ Mar 11 2012, 11:57 PM) Since this booster put near all the fuses ... will it affected others fuse??? I scare caught fire ... Dont worry. The FireStorm Booster does not consume any more power than what your ignition coil needs. It consumes lesser power than your car CD player!!!btw, how much??? tq. Please let me know what car model and which state in Malaysia you are from so that I can quote you the price with shipping charges. Cheers. Peter |

QUOTE(kujiro @ Mar 15 2012, 04:12 PM) HiAs long as you do not cut any wires then it wont void the warranty. I tell all my customers that they have to remove whatever aftermarket device that they install before going to the Service Centre. This is so that they dont have to argue with the SC personnel. In fact, changing the CD player or speakers will even void the warranty, which to me, is a stupidly ridiculous excuse from the SC! They should come out with a clause that states if you do not go back to the SC for oil change and every little thing, then your car warranty will be void! Another prohibition would be to prevent any charginhg devices to be plugged into the cigarette lighter, unless these items are purchased from the SC! So, just remove whatever device that you put in before you go to the Service Centre. Please check your PM for the price. Cheers. |

QUOTE(tsfatt @ Mar 17 2012, 03:37 PM) Hello Peter ..received ur 2 FICB thanks for ur fast actions... both have installed vios & innova ... That is exactly what you should experience!I find ...; - engine sound lowered ..why??? - feel more power .. when press fuel paddle ... why? I saw some post difficult to start (no said difficult, like longer time, maybe 1-2second), is it because you use the material, I mean the connector ... b'cos when I pull the original fuse ..it using like copper?? but I saw ur's using like normal "steel" color ... maybe it will affect a bit ... I got fews questions 1)how come innova put inside ( engine there also got fuse box ) and Vios put engine fuse box???... 2)I saw the fuse box at innova ..the fuse I replace this, the word written there like fuse for "injector" .... is it mean plug?? Tq. The enghine noise is lower because the fuel burning is more complete and you get more power out of the same amount of pwtrol that your engine burns. This translates into lower engine RPM for more power so the engine sounds much quieter while you also feel more power from the engine and do not have to ste so hard on the accelerator pedal like before you install the FireStorm Booster. Its not conclusive on our testing whether the copper or plated contacts would give better or lesser conductivity. The FireStorm Booster is installed to the fuse socket that supplies power to the ignition coil. The designated fuse differs for all cars. I'm very happy that you have expereinced the positive effects of the FireStorm Booster. Cheers. Peter |

QUOTE(clrtout @ Mar 17 2012, 09:14 PM) thanks to bro fashaholic for the COD and installation earlier this afternoon. Hi brothis is my feedback installed to my perodua viva auto. 1)immediately smoother engine feels and less vibration. 2)feel a bit more powerful eventhou i released the throttle pedal, can still feel the car momentum moving forward.really felt when cornering....feels a bit like heel n toe.i still haf momentum to continue exiting the corner with lesser delay on throttle opening. sorry, was not able to test drive it with you.cause i bring my wife along....i was suppose to send her first but since u said u were free...so i came earlier.hehehe... my point, recommended product. hopefully the ROI is immediate. P/s:my viva is still stock std with minor upgrades like exhaust, iridium plugs, guangdao VS + groundings. Thanks so much for coming over and sorry that your wife had to stand under the sun while I installed the FireStorm Booster. Thanks also for your positive feedback. Most people will share the same as your expereince in lower engine noise and vibration. But only very few are sensitive enough to feel what you feel in your No 2 point. The Iridium plugs with the FireStorm Booster enhances the performance effect even more, even though the normal spark plugs are sufficient. Cheers. Peter |
