Dear Solar Water Heater Specialists,

Need your advice or some general info. Recently moved in to new house in Bandar Kinrara, solar water heater is provided by developer already, basicaly the shower with the handle to control water heat / temperature by turning left / right no need to switch on heater etc. However I noticed that early in the morning around 6-7AM there is hardly any hot water. What would be the best solution? Can somehow connect the solar water heater to a dedicated switch so that can manually switch on and off when those days not so much sunlight?

Yes in the mornings when I wake up, 6AM like that, i make sure to turn the handle all the way to how water side.... i once waited like 20-25 minutes, still only a bit of hot water. Normally bathe in the evening is ok, I guess it had enough energy to heat the water since it has taken in the sun for the whole day, but early morning, always almost no hot water......sigh......
Ya you're right, will need to see what the management says about it.

When you buy such a water heater or aircon, there is a spec you can check. The differential temperature efficiency.

Where for a solar heater, how many degree of temperature from the ambient outside can be bring up the water temperature. This is the efficiency you need to know before get a solar heater.

Another example to ask is, can I install your solar heater on the mount kinabalu ?   Don't tell me I have to switch on the heater. 

Yup same here, need to turn on. There is hot water but not sufficient for 6 persons, so need to turn on.

so, it comes with a backup but u didnt need to turn it on right? Btw, how many persons using the solar?
