Hmm..Kimi Todo animu? I think i wanna giv it a try! Love story right? XD

The cover of the Manga volume 1 screams "girly love story", unfortunately. I don't enjoy the manga that much - I find that the anime seems to be more interesting. Maybe it's the same with Shojo mangas - I had the same feeling with Natsume Yuujinchou - the anime was gripping but the manga was quite boring. Which is good because you can usually buy the entire anime series for less than the price of a single volume of manga!

Kimi is not really strictly a love story at first, more like a girl's efforts to fit in her surroundings despite creeping people out because of her shyness and resemblance to Ringu's Sadako. Later on when she's become popular then I guess there'll be more emphasis on the love story - there's already a rival in part of the anime I've watched up to, and she's quite slimy.

Happy New Year as well, everyone! Thanks for the support group - it's not easy to find other people who appreciate the hobby - it was getting really lonely! I don't know a single person in real-life who collects Nendoroids. Or maybe they do but like me dare not say....

Bad - constant poison

I get enough constant poison from XL shop website and the various blogs out there which I cannot resist visiting regularly. I spent RM900+ yesterday at XL shop... when I went home I was so worried the wife will see me come in (and they gave me this BIG XL-Shop fabric bag too, so is very obvious)... I think I'm already poisoned to death liao... at least have somebody in real-life who is also poisoned then we can die together!

Looking at the Nendos coming on XL-Shop's website, I think I can expect to be buying at least 1 or 2 Nendos a month for the next 3 months. Very scary, and I'm running out of space to keep the boxes hidden....

actually getting from xl-shop quite expensive

Is about same price as Time Machine for current stock, and at least can guarantee original ma. Speedy Video sells the fake ones - where is a good shop to buy from?

Sorry to say but those anime DVDs you can buy locally are bootlegs. Ori DVD/ BDs from japan can go more than RM1k for a 13 episode series (but US versions are a lot cheaper).

Ya, I heard. What's a good place to buy original anime from? While I'm not going to buy Dragonball Z, One Piece or anything that will cost me an arm and a leg, there are a few series which I really love and would like to get the originals for.

Amazon.co.jp (original jp releases with tons of extras. Drama CDs, OSTs, etc)

There are other sites like Rightstuf or HMV but Amazon has better discount. Too bad they don't sell nendos overseas.

hey guys, for the asakura ryoko set, does the ponytail fit the disappearance version of haruhi? or will it look weird with the haruhi disappearance version on the ryoko uniform?
