What? 1 year waiting for Red? Luckily it won't be my chosen color hehe.

And couldn't agree more to the drop in filter thing, the modern sensors are more than sensitive to sense the changes and adjust to normalize. What you really get is just saving costs of replacing ordinary paper filter. And with that in mind, you can go other brands which doesn't need re-oiling and such.

cleaning service and re-oiling K&N filter cost around $15-25. Better than Honda charges u extra when it's time to change the filters

Anyone know how much HONDA charge for their Paper Air Filter Element???
*
Ranging from RM110 - RM240 depending on models smile.gif

If you buy the stock filter from Honda Spare Parts shop, the most expensive also RM55 only.

And for the oiling, it is semi bull-shit also... tongue.gif

If you can take care of your car the right way, yes you should not need to send your car for polishing in years to come.

Definitely agree. I have the same problem when reversing from diagonal parking (those / / / parking) in my Celica. I'd expect facing the same in the CR-Z (which I am trading my Celica for). Just have to slowly inch out and cross your fingers! I guess the best way to solve this would be installing 180 degrees rear view cameras.

As for blind spots, I think all other types of cars have the same problem. Only thing in the CR-Z (just like Celica) would be that your interior rear-view mirror cannot see the blind spots (even if you have those extra wide ones) due to the C-pillars. Just have to rely on side mirrors. For my driving style, I tend to use a small blind sport mirror (on the side mirrors) plus do a quick turn of the head.
*
The small mirror is good... I figured out now I can't get used to a vehicle without it rclxub.gif

Yes, in fact we do not sell Opti-Coat to customer, strictly only application, because one mistakes and you will have hell to go through to remove it.
