Hmm i think that depends on what mode are you in also..for sports mode usually i notice that the battery assist isn't that frequent compared to when in normal or eco mode..correct me if i''m wrong.. tongue.gif
*
IMA gives full assist when you are in sports mode....
as for normal and eco... it's less....

QUOTE(sleepwalker @ Sep 13 2012, 10:01 AM)
Sports mode actually allows 100% full assist, meaning the moment you stomp on the accelerator, your IMA assist goes full blue bar. HOwever the IMA assistance is not always 100%, depending on your throttle position but as long as Sports mode is turned on, your blue bar will go max faster than Normal or Econ.

Sports mode also changes the characteristics of the ECU to provide a more aggressive throttle response in the engine, making it more fuel hungry. Since IMA is allowed to give full assist, you will run out of battery faster and in the long run, you will be less fuel efficient as you will have no battery left for assistance.

Whereas in ECON mode, the ECU and IMA is adjusted for max fuel saving, making the car feel a little 'lembap' in response. It would be a compromise of charging and using the battery, keeping every thing in balance by the complicated ECU.
*
yes,... in Eco mode, not only the IMA characteristics change... the throttle response change as well, which is think is the main component in saving fuel from the way you drive.

No battery means less power right ?

Cause the electric motor is needed for the combine horse power ..

I dun really see the point of this car >.>

If you want to go fast, why not get a proper hatch back .

since someone will probably shoot me and say expensive.

The golf TSI is solidly fast on its own.
*
that's true... it is never a fast car to start with. sweat.gif

I get what you mean.

I was thinking of getting this car as a daily drive but looks like it wont be fitting for my ultra heavy right foot.

i work in shah alam and i go there from damansara everyday, looking for something cheap and quick.

weekends are sorted out in a proper continental. problem is, car too exp to park at office.

i lost my fd2 there ~_~
*
ultra heavy right foot-ers won't benefit from this car.... running the car on sports mode all the time will make you forget you are driving a hybrid... the fuel consumption is terrible, with or without a fully charged battery...

noblesse's rear bumper/diffuser is great... but other than that... it's just so so... lucky thing... this car doesnt need to change the outlook right away... it just looks great out of the showroom already.

just need to change the rims, with the right size of tires....

what's wrong with the stock rims wor~~~? looks nice what...16" more comfort also cos the ride is already choppy due to the short wheelbase...
*
not just the rims.... original tires are too narrow, i'm changing to 17" not just for the looks....
my old satria has wider tires than this... sweat.gif

Regarding the new cr-z.... only Honda Malaysia knows.

Anyone who can't wait can always fine tune the car in GT5
