Mind to share which location are u right now?

Which honda ?

What colour bro ?

2012 stock or 2011 ?
*
Actually you can stop worrying bout 2011 stocks, Honda are bringing in CBU cars such as Jazz Hybrid, Stream, CRZ, etc based on pre orders.. smile.gif

So those ready stock cars are usually pre ordered cars but the buyer somehow postponed the collection or cancelled the purchase.

Hi guys. Just wanna check, where did you did your car tinting. According to a tint shop that name I shall not reveal, the crz rear windscreen need 2 pcs of tint because of its curvature. Is it true? Did you guys have problems installing tints? Any recommendation?

Thanks in advance.

I'm getting my car next week. Can't wait! Hehe
*
Got mine from Vessolar Llumar puchong, installed by the SA. So far happy with the heat rejection but like what jceh83 said, the back really needs a darker tint.

I'm also planning to lay another layer of tint for the back glass later. biggrin.gif

My dealer says that my car can only arrive NEXT WEEK. I booked my car middle of May.

Just wanna check with you guys to prove that the sales agent is not bull shitting. hehehe
*

any good or bad about the car? tongue.gif
picking a date for test drive..>.<
*
- Fun to drive
- Love the low seating and interior layout
- Good handling even in pure stock form
- Very nice low end torque but bit asmatic from mid to high end RPM
- Back space is only good for baby seat or kids below 12
- Dont ever compare the FC with other Hybrids if you have heavy foot.. tongue.gif
- 6MT in eco mode is painful...

so overall is around 7/10 ?

what u means by 6 manual transmission in eco mode is painful? how painful? FC?
*
I'd give 8/10 coz i love the external looks as well...lol, biased.. tongue.gif

Yep, like ChzeHong said it's really unresponsive in eco mode but painful coz you really have to shift up to the last gear really fast in order to get to cruising speed at 70 to 80km/h otherwise the car will hold you up.

Usually i'll go by normal mode from standstill and switch to Eco when i'm already at cruising speed.. smile.gif and all Eco when i'm stuck in traffic jam, rolling in a car park area or any other low speed conditions in the city.

I'd say the eco mode in Jazz Hybrid is far more pleasant coz its an auto transmission.. smile.gif

FC for normal + ECO mode at 95% of the time is not bad, I manage to get 15.6km/l that is 555km for 35 litres. Some owners have gotten more impressive milleage here.

Lately after the first 1000km, i've been redlining the car sometimes at Sport mode to condition the engine so currently i'm at 13.8 km/l with 435km with around 50km left before next fuel up.. smile.gif

Painfully unresponsive if I may. smile.gif

Don't get me wrong, I love the car. And Honda Malaysia has officially delayed my car delivery! Anyone here still waiting for your car arrival?
*
Chzehong, waiting for the CVT??

Nope. I'm waiting for the 6MT. My car is being delayed till the end of the month with no reason given! Not to mention not even a projected delivery date.
*
Where did you book the car from? Usually it will take 3-4 weeks.

depending on what colour and no its not usually 3-4 weeks bro..
*
Okay, i forgot about the car color part...Milano red will be more than a month waiting period.

Anyway I got my Storm Silver 4 weeks after booking at Sri Peringgit and my sister got her black CRZ 3 weeks after booking at Kah Motor Puchong. Both booking was done in April.

It was suppose to be 4 weeks. And 4 weeks have passed. They confirm that the car is being delayed. I called Honda Malaysia but they offered not much help.
*
I guess HM can't do much since this is CBU from Japan, could be shortage problem somewhere in their supply chain.

Can try to cure your longing by buying the mod parts for the car first... tongue.gif

Guys, recently I can smells those car's smokes come from the Aircon, I know it should be something to do with the filter but how can I do about it?
*
Just a hypothesis here, could it be that you are now used to the power of the car and now you tends to throttle it more? smile.gif

Btw i'm also using Petronas Primax 95 here.. biggrin.gif

If you confirmed that the smell that comes into your car is from the outside, then the problem could lie in the seal or the flap that closes the fresh air intake. In that case you should really send the car back for inspection.

I have some funny smell from the aircon too but its not from the outside and this may got something to do with the filter.. smile.gif

If you want to change your aircon filter then can consider this

http://www.blitzpowerusa.com/products/acfi...a_c-filter.html

Will check with my friend if Blitz has this for CRZ as well... smile.gif

If yes then have to hackle the SA to process it ASAP.

Someone spotted it at Port Klang...

Hackle SA also useless if HM haven't announce release, pricing, etc..

Do you guys buy additional windscreen insurance?

If yes how much is it insured for and how much more additional premium charged?
*
Mine was quoted at RM 825 by the SA for coverage of around RM 5.5k, according to her, the estimated windscreen price is around RM 5K. The additional coverage is for the tint.

I guess different dealers have different price estimation for the windscreen..

Btw, windscreen insurance are optional, you can opt not to have it or insured it at any value that you are comfortable with. smile.gif

Hello guys! I own a Crz too, I got this car at the end of Aprial so went for test this monster on north south highway when it reach 175KM/H got the "Humming" sound, but I still floor the pedal till it reach 195KM/H and it's very quite and steady.

My concern is why when this car reach 175KM/H have the Humming sound? Hope some experts or owner here could please advise. Thank you!
*
I did not have this problem yet but its the problem with the windshield upper rubber molding...pls report this to Honda service center, alot of owners are have this problem local and international..

Hopefully the more reports Honda receive about this problem from fellow CRZ owners they will come up with a solution for this or possibly a recall.

lol, luv your 'urban spirited drive', how can you archive 500km+ with 35l petrol? In city, i only can get 450km with 35l petrol, that's the best i can get for now..

17km/l, did u use cruise? I tried drive from Ipoh back to KL using cruise with 120km/h, only able to get 15.7km/l..

Please share~ master Sifu!
*
I noticed that using cruise control for speed above 80km/h will have higher FC, reason being the computer will always maintain the speed you have set and that uses constant throttle input unless there is a steep downhill.

mana yang betul?

The CR-Z is powered by a 1.5 L (92 cu in) i-VTEC SOHC inline-4 engine, designated as LEA, with Honda's Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) hybrid-electric system.[19] A six-speed manual transmission is standard equipment and a continuously variable transmission (CVT) is available. The system delivers a combined peak output of 122 bhp (91 kW; 124 PS) at 6000 rpm and 128 lb·ft (174 N·m) at 1000 to 1500 rpm (123 lb·ft (167 N·m) on CVT-equipped models). The gasoline motor itself contributes only 111 bhp (83 kW; 113 PS) at 6000 rpm and 106 lb·ft (144 N·m) at 4800 rpm. An early road test of a Japanese-market CR-Z resulted in 0-60 mph in 10.5 seconds and the quarter mile in 17.6 seconds.[20] Inside Line performed the same 0-60 mph test in 8.8 seconds, and Motor Trend, in 8.3 seconds.[21][22]
