Doesn't sound cost effective since TS mentioned only lacking a light point. I wouldn't want concealed wiring juz to obtain a power point for the bedside lighting. I would prefer to do add additional power point extended frm nearest existing power point.

Cheapest solution I can think of would be to use extension cord hidden under the bed.
