Hi I had my eyes on a bedside table that is wall mounted and thinking of instaling 2 of it in my room. But my bedside has only 1 plug point and there's no light point on the wall. What are the options for me to install the lights? Just mount the lights, use the plug point and leave the wiring expose?

That is the easy method. If you fussy, use a cutter open up a small hole put in the wires.

To conceal the wires.

Getting Started

QUOTE(weikee @ Nov 3 2011, 11:48 AM) Doesn't sound cost effective since TS mentioned only lacking a light point. I wouldn't want concealed wiring juz to obtain a power point for the bedside lighting. I would prefer to do add additional power point extended frm nearest existing power point. Cheapest solution I can think of would be to use extension cord hidden under the bed.

Depend on the bed configuration. If the wall light are mount beside the bed than the bed frame can hide, if in between it have wall can't help but to expose the wire or conceal by hacking the wall.

I'm thinking above the bed, but can consider putting beside the bed if that's more cost effective. If conceal wiring, there is a possibility that I have to take out the whole thing if the lamp spoilt?
