don't forget to give some review, comparison with Honeycomb. smile.gif i'm very excited for this ICS update. Honeycomb is just sucks.

I just flashed to 4.0.4 manually the USA firmware.A bit sluggish while browsing.

Will test more.

btw, i got this one problem for quite some time. whenever i tried to open big MS Word files, like 1.5-2MB or PDF files with 40-50MB size, my tab said not enough memory. how to overcome this problem? tried to restart to reduce the RAM usage but still same.

sori. havent open big ms word files yet smile.gif

btw, i alwayz get this android is upgrading optimizing applications eveytime i reboot... quite frustrating eventho no harm...

help

im stuck when i wipe the 3 thing in clockmodrecovery (factory, cache and dalvik cache) the firmware file in my tab gone together with it, so how..? do i need to root my tab 1st..?

You need to use odin to upload the firmware.

Eh what Odin how, u mean not using the clockmodrecovery to flash the firmware, instead using Odin to flash..help I dont understand.

If the rom zip after extract you see several folders such as metainf, system ,image etc than you use cwm recovery to flash. If your rom file after download extract to a single tar file or 3 tar files use Odin in PC to flash it

Its zip, I've downloaded from ultima link above. So I have to flash using cwm, so i put the file inside my tab internal storage since the tab 8.9 didn't have external storage, the problem is when i do the 3 wipe process the factory wipe, cache wipe and delvik wipe, the firmware tat i put inside the internal storage earlier gone...
