8.9 3g no support phone. but you can install viber or Skype for network call.

wifi support GPS. still can be use.

i noticed that the RAM keep increasing now. If before this can stay around 480-500 in standby mode, now after a month of use reach 600. how to reduce it?

i always end all running apps when want to put it in stand by mode.

the batt also drain fast now. aiyo.

i allready used this one..buy last month..cannot make call but u can send and recieved sms....i install Yes life...from android market...now sn call...dont have Sd card slot...

Hey all, got bit problem with the tab. When i play videos on FB apps, the sound is there but no video showing. Anyone got similar problem and can share how to solve this?

Anyone knows how to check warranty status, eg since when? Tried sms 62002 but only works if got imei. Mine is wifi only. Tried website but unavai too.

Hi all.. Am using samsung galaxy tab 8.9, and my problem is surfing the internet is very slow. Am using unifi at home with 5mb. I dont have any problem with ipad and iphone. Only with tab. I have hard reset also. Pls advice. Tq

I am using wifi ver. To me its worth it since the price cheap.
And i really like the size. Its not to small and not to big.

i read in cari forum stated that samsung has annouced starting from 1st march 2012 there will be an upgrade to Android 4.0 for devices besides Galaxy S II, including Galaxy S II LTE、Galaxy Note、Galaxy R、Galaxy Tab 10.1、Galaxy Tab 8.9、Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. users can upgrade thru OTA or kies.

one question, is it worth waiting for the new tab 2 7.0??

im looking at the wifi version for both this 8.9 and tab 2 7.0.since the price of wifi version will most probably be the same as 8.9 wifi.

It seems its only advantage over 8.9 is the extra portability,lighter weight,usb,micro sd slot.but has a smaller battery somemore.

is 7 inch a little bit too small?or 8.9 a little too big for bringing around?

what do you mean cannot read USB? then what is the USB for? just write?

go try the real thing, i find 7 is too small for my need, if you wanna use it as a phone then the size is great, if not then bigger is more comfortable, and when 2 person viewing the screen, 8.9 is much better, 10 is great but too big.

Agree with you, how about 7.7? is it too small also?
