I would like to grab a Diploma in Real Estate Agency which would serve as a license for me to venture into the real estate career..

But i just wanted to be in self-study instead of having to be attending the course which costs much much more compared to only sitting for the exam alone..

Hi, it is possible to study some 1 or 2 subjects for the exam depending on your background. For example, I think you don't need to go for the Accounting class if you are currently working as an accountant. However, some subjects are tough as you may have not learn it before or because the exam questions are customized to real estate eg: Marketing, Building technology, Property Law.

The exam if real estate is hard to pass

hey have you got your agency license yet?

Ts, you can register at inspen if want to take up diploma.there is 2 choices:
1) take full time or part time courses
2) take up the exam only and self study. You just need to register for the exam. Same goes like the study, there is list of subjects and you required to pass all paper (requirement is only pass, no need to actually excel)

Then after get your cert, can pursue path as real estate agent. But before you get fully comply as full REA, you have to keep log for few years and report with the board.

Total around 4-6 years to be able to get full REA license. With the license, u then can appoint REN to work for you.

Its a lucrative career, but to get one took up a long time. Deswai if got kids, after study send directly to inspen for REA course.

Summore is cheaper for full time after spm and get allowance monthly rather than take up as part time.

Nope, i did not proceed to the Diploma on Real Estate course.. since i also need to fulfil full time practical as real estate negotiator to get the license, i decided to put it on hold..

ahh ok. i've called up with miea. there might be new program coming up soon. so im still waiting for their email. once got it, probably can post here.

I am experienced in property sales in property development but according to the requirement, need to attached with a property agent instead of developers.
