New hero in the making Quirt and Silthil?

not heroes like drow, more like you complete quest type in RPG

I won't be surprised if Quirt went back to the shopkeeper & as part of the deal to save Sithil, they agreed to become the Necronomicon couple.

lulz yeah, Silthil accepted the quest while Quirt kinda want the items for himself.

How about the other way around? It's not impossible for heroes to die in the hand of creeps.

that could be the conclusion and the whole thing might be a prologue of something bigger
then next book shows how Quirt save Sithil (assuming he didnt became part of the cash to make Divine Rapier)
