i find HoN better than LoL in many ways...

i could win games 3 vs 5 but not in LoL..

i play on the US HON.

But to login, you need to use hotspot shield Free VPN, just to bypass the country restriction.

1. turn on hotspot
2. login to hon
3. press alt+f8 and type /chatdisconnect
4. minimize to windows and turn off hotspot
5. back to the game in the alt+f8 screen, type /chatconnect
6. join a match making game
7. in the game if you want to load the guide, minimize to windows and turn on hotspot. go back to the game and click retry on your guide it should work now. then minimize to windows and turn off hotspot. then go back to the game and enjoy playing :]
8. once your game is completed, you should be able to access the shop without any connection issues ^^
Yeah it's very troublesome, but it's the only way to play HON US/Europe/Australia 
PS: to login to hon us website, also have to use hotspot.
