this doesn't happen to me specifically, but i have a friend who has really, really bad cramps during/before her period... sometimes she would just lie there in pain....so then a doctor suggested taking birth control pills in order to control the pain... now the pain is almost gone!

you should definitely look into birth control pills if the pain is high
