Your poll too many choices. Not easy to choose.
Basically my period cramps are on the first day, after that I can be up and running already.
I take painkillers - either the Panadol ones or Ponstan (which is a stronger type of painkiller). Then I'll have to rest in bed and sleep till I feel better. But sometimes there's no pain at all, only slight cramps which doesn't affect me.
It's only one day so give yourself a break and do your work the next day.
Try stopping cold drinks once and for all, I know of friends who do this and say that it works for them. They also convince themselves that cold drinks are not good for health in the long run. But I don't have that determination and still love cold drinks so I can't do that.
Exercise you'll have to be constantly doing it. And from what I heard, it's your stomach muscles you have to exercise.
My sister is 40+ and has not given birth, she still get period cramps each time she has her period.
Added on October 31, 2011, 11:01 amOh and I've been eating evening primrose oil for the past 2 months or so, and my menses this month had no period cramps and it was pretty short.
I've tried Bak Fong Pill (which my mum's friend claims that it's so good and all) but it didn't work for me as well.
