Myself have a super serious menstrual pain almost every months until i fainted..hmm almost every months too. I'm taking Ponstan 500mg since 8 years back. It's not recommended to take this pills because it will have side effect which is gastric. Recently my gf recommend me a pill for cramping which you can get it from Pharmacy (Guardian or Watson) and its called Buscopan. It's really help to stop the cramp within 15-30mins. But i do eat this medic togteher with Ponstan because my condition is abit serious.
Or another method if you're unwilling to takes any pills, you need to avoid of drinking cold or ice, beer, sleep late and need to eat more those chinese herbs such as "bak foong yun", "bak zhan" or herbal soup. Hope this will help
